Theres a crime that happened at my island in Puerto Rico that can both be for family tradition and for this video. The normal family tradition a new years eve is to get together and party. Another bad tradition of NYE tradition for criminals is to shoot in the air. The strange shot up during the countdown and actually hit a young girl from the family.

My youngest son (21) just got a car; and DRIVES!😓 You worry when they are small, but it really never ends. Everytime they go out the door a mini "worst case scenario" runs thru the back of your mind. I have over 40 years of experience (including military experience) in and around guns. From rifles, shotguns, revolvers, automatics, and even assault rifles, I have NEVER come across any model capable of firing a round while disassembled for cleaning. The weapon must be reassembled, loaded, and the trigger pulled for the weapon to fire. Admittedly, there are some handgun models that lack some safety features where someone could drop the firearm and cause a discharge, but again, the weapon must be assembled and loaded. Anyone who says the gun discharged "while cleaning it" is full of $h|t.

I go running at 5:30 in the morning while it's still dark, around a lake near my house, and for some reason, people fire guns all the time! I don't know why, but it is a rough area. All the women walkers have weapons...you can tell because as you come up behind them, they pull it out in case you're a freak guy. I play music and scream a "good morning!" as I come running up, and the regulars are very used to me. I do not want to surprise anyone!

My cousin's husband once almost accidentally killed their neighbor. The moron was cleaning his gun and somehow didn't make sure it was empty and it went off, shot through his wall and into the neighbor's house. It just barely missed the neighbor. And my cousin's husband was in the military so he REALLY should have known better. But I grew up with him and he's always been an idiot.
