My first night of my honey moon, like 29 years ago, we arrived at our " romantic cottage" in the country, fair dinkum the matress was full of straw and horse hair it was from like a couple hundred years ago and you could see the lumps from the front door. The "fresh fruit on arrival" was some steamy slimy looking rhubarb. We sat on the bed and it was all pokey lumpy and horrid. We tried to chase down the owner to get a refund, so we could get out of there fast, but the owner was so drunk he could hardly stand. We left within half an hour without our money and found somewhere else.

In 2020 we went to gold coast to go on all the theme parks and that literal day we got there, covid prohibited anyone from going on any theme parks, then we had to shamefully drive back home

A neighbouring property near me has this arrangement, not sure if advertised that it’s shared but I see people rolling their suitcase down the driveway only to find that they are sharing a 3 bedroom place with at least 5 permanent and 2-3 semi permanent residents- I often wonder if they are getting a whole room or what, and even if so your sharing a bathroom/kitchen with all these people - I hope it’s at least cheap but probably not because you can say it’s close to the city and public transport, shops, etc - stuff that!
