Imagine getting praised for being such a rising star in a way to cope with your mom who died in a certain outbreak yet there he was doing fucked up shit (I don't remember what he did but the time when he and his comrade find one of their own into a monster, so his dad or company used her to research and create more for the sake of stopping the blackhole idk I forgot and he was so naive like saying its for the greater good its alright just to give himself assurance that he is not doing a "bad" thing) oh yea not to mention that person who turn into a monster was also the girl (Naomi) who like him and also the girl who is the long lost sister (Kasane, I don't think she is biological sister more of they share the same mom) friend of him. Because of that his long lost sister killed your dad and shit, everyone turn against you cause you were a miserable pile of shit that was blind to "save" the world, well that shit turn out depressing when he is the last one standing in the apocalypse. Well at least he was able to redeem himself by telling Kasane in the present about everything so that his present-self could do better than him. Edit:Lol I forgot his future self is literally blind so yea no pun intended

A really fascinating approach is adding the spoilers to the OP as they come, like having characters as black silhouettes until they're introduced, or adding more meaningful scenes later. Obviously we can't expect the animation team to make a different OP for each episode, but when they do it's great.

I get the impression that the mc was the first real friend of the villain and therefore he killed the princess out of fear of losing him, turning their friendship to a rivalry. Out of guilt, he eventually revealed his identity and let himself be killed by his past friend to end his torn heart. Very deep.

I love the final opening to part 3 of Jojo. They end up showing exactly what Dio is doing but it's not until after you know what he is capable of and I thought it was such a cool moment. They hide it intentionally until the final episodes and it was an awesome reveal and a surprise in the opening

One of my favorite things about the sailor moon anime was that the opening would change when new characters were introduced, like if the antagonist changed (which would occasionally happen halfway through an arc) or new guardians were introduced then they would change the opening sequence for that

Ah, yes. I remember this show. Starts out a bit slow and has some similarities to Sword Art Online, but once you reach the White Rabbit arc, that's when the show puts the pedal to the floor and doesn't let up. Like, no joke, the entire show gets flipped on its head, the characters start to break out of their molds, the fights are intense and over-the-top and that plot twist of Cilvanis finding out it was his best friend in the rabbit outfit...not gonna lie, my brain needed to do a hard reboot. It was that crazy. Yet even after this arc, the ones after this manage to be just as good if not top it. I don't want to spoil too much but let's just say that Cilvanis' friend didn't really put that suit on by choice...and I'll leave it at that.
