What impresses me most about Yamal isn’t his technical ability. It’s his IQ, his maturity for his age. Dude picks and chooses his battles. His unbelievable performance at wolfsburg to win their first Bundesliga, his goal agaisnt qpr to put city level that was overshadowed by aguero, his top tier striker performances at roma, bringing bosnia to their first ever world cup. He holds a place in my heart because growing up when people would hear that i am Bosnian they will see me as a war child, because of the horrible things that happened in Bosnia, but with the rise of Edin Dzeko people saw Bosnia as “the country edin dzeko is from” and not “the war torn country”. The problem with very young stars is that many reach their peak performance too young and sometimes they cannot grow more than that, or they cannot maintain their performance in the following years, and that is a burden of stress and pressure that is difficult to bear. I believe he will be blessed when it comes to injuries. He already had some serious tackles like early in the game against Brazil. He also has a strict diet from young age by living in La Masia (all food prepared for them). For example Ansu Fati often eat at his home cooked by his mom. Nothing wrong with that but going elite and eating mam's foot isn't like for example CR7 who mastered that part (only reason he could compete a bit with Leo). Hope he gets a long rest after EURO and other holidays. Xavi overused him IMO! Bless him
