He won a Liga for Atletico during prime Barca/Madrid AND the Messi era, reaching a UCL final. He won the premier twice being their top scorer. He then won several more trophies including a Europa League which is really downplayed in the video. Spain's downfall started in 2013, a year before he joined them, and he had nothing to do with it. He played in two world cups being Spain's top scorer in 2018.

I'm a chelsea fan and I did not like him at all and not even really for the "dirty" or childish things he did but because I felt he always held back our attack in some ways. A great goalscorer in the league but had below average linkup play, held onto the ball too long and never showed up in champions league. Every transfer window from 2015-17 I prayed that chelsea would go get cavani to replace him but it never happened and instead we signed morata🫥

Rubbish, he was our last great striker, he showed up in CL, it was Hazard who did not Costa is loved by Chelsea, and we still haven't replaced him, Morata nothing on Costa

@@calm123 costa was terrible in champions league, in the two cl campaigns he played in at chelsea hazard had more goals and hazard almost single handedly won us the league in 14/15 while costa missed 9 of the last 16 matches and only scored 3 goals in that span. He was our last great striker but that doesn't negate anything I said in my original comment. He often ruined the potential fluidity of the attack by holding onto the ball too long and losing possession because he just wouldn't release it quickly enough. Hazard also outscored him in the 2nd half of the 16/17 season and led us to another title. Costa was just a little too selfish and inconsistent to really help take chelsea to that cl contender level and Chelsea really should've never had any regrets about letting him go when they did because he went back to atletico and did nothing lol.

I will never forget how Real Madrid lost the league to Atletico in 2014. Would have been the first and only Real Madrid treble

Yes yes this is all true BUT it did make for a wildly entertaining stint on the Champions from Bleacher Report 😂😂😂
