Bad batch beat him with stuns. Using live rounds hed be dead easily, not to mention gregor getting shot, resulting in echo and hunter needing to care for him. Delta squad does have better characters but the bad batch is OP as hell. If the two squads were to fight bad batch would still win 7/10 times, maybe more.

Not only that, but it's a single Squad member and the weakest of them at that. the fact that it took the majority of the bad batch to take out just Scorch means they would stand no chance against Boss and Fixer aswell, let alone Sev

@@Lelebees ​ Then the deflectors should have blocked the stuns but they didn’t. The difference between the two is the batch wasn’t trying to kill but scorch was. Besides they were also occupied in protecting gregor. If gregor wasn’t there and they didn’t care about killing other clones then the fact is he would have died when they were in the elevator. Don’t get me wrong delta is strong but they are more covert forces, fighting smaller waves of enemies while the Bad batch are a front line squad who literally have experience in taking on entire armies at a time. Besides if wrecker was there he would have grabbed him by the neck and chucked him into the void of that pit.

@@semillakan6 Incorrect, you're forgetting the bad batch might be above regular clones because of their enhanced abilities, but they were not trained as commandos were. Every commando (apart from the unpainted ones in this ep it seems) were trained by mandalorians themselves at the request of the kaminoans to truly separate them from regular clones. This is where the ARC troopers hatred for all the commandos comes from because they always believed that the commandos were far more loyal to their mandalorian trainers than they were to the republic. If the entirety of Delta was there and it was a standoff between both delta squad and the bad batch, it would be a single season show because they wouldn't last 60 seconds. Everyone saw what scorch did to them, 3 more of him there and the show would've ended right there. Vode an intensifies

Yeah Katarn armor is real expensive, and also doesnt give that much of an advantage in head on battles that most clones experience. Several commandos were present in the first battle of Geonosis and those head on charges killed around half of the existing clone commandos

That my friend is one of the reasons Bad Batch is kind of painful for me to watch. I'm a HUGE Prequel and Clone Trooper fan since I grew up on them. Especially after seeing the personalities of the Clones in Clone Wars, it's painful to my heart now to see the boys I've come to love, now as the antagonists serving an evil Empire. Every time I see a clone get killed I feel sad. That these guys fought as the good guys for 3 years in a war, then with one command are now the antagonists. They valiantly sacrificed their lives in a war that was started so one man could gain control, that they once protected the innocent as white knights, now just used as seemingly emotionless enforcers of tyranny. The clones are truly a tragic story, and not a few years after the war ended, they were just replaced completely.

The Commandos were there to train the new troopers, so the DC-17 would not have been standard to train, but the DC-15 was, which is why Scorch had it. I assume that's why Scorch's backpack tubes were also absent, given that he didn't need them to train recruits.
