Pipe i found that the best way to deal with random teammates as coven is to use the n1 chat to recommend claims for them. Ask them what theyll be claiming and then suggest claims for them if they arent sure. Give them tips such as "post immediately if TI" and "vote each other up in vfa". This unironically helps. Also, I recommend always having one coven claim seer. Seers lead the town

I love helping my teammates if I think they need it but what the original commenter is proposing is more like babysitting and coaching their entire game for them. It'd very quickly get exhausting to focus on your own game and your teammates' games every single match

Imo that poisoner is trying something, He claimed veteran so he wont be checked on further nights, everyone will be paranoid to visit him being afraid if they were a real veteran, tho it's kinda wild to claim it early after the d2 starts, and if he were checked and turn out suspicious he will be the first one to say that "I posted first hang that other guy" so he be safe for a day before he gets hanged.

The reasoning to hide your bugs as spy keeps coven/evils unaware of what info (or lack of info) you can get from your bugs. Lets say you bug 5, and 5 is a serial killer, in an all-any game, there's a very decent chance that they will get attacked (by either cov or a shroud) and survive, spy bug will reveal that they're attacked, and the spy will know that they are an immune role. If you choose to *reveal* your bugs, then the SK knows "if I get attacked, this spy is going to immediately tell town that i'm SK" and will subsequently attack you (as spies are very low on the TP-priority list) but if your bug is [Hidden] then the SK has much less justification to attack. The same thing can happen with you bugging someone and then they claim silenced: If you post "Bugged 8 (No Triggers)" at the start of the day, and 8 was *planning to claim silenced* to semi-conf themselves as non-cov, then they can immediately abandon the plan. However if you keep your post [Hidden] and 8 gets voted up, says "..." you can immediately toss out "I bugged 8, they weren't silenced this is jest/cov fakeclaiming silenced". These are just the first examples off the top of my head. Hope you read this Pipetron.

Exactly. I don't know why Pipe said that. It's mostly to pick up evils that are actively trying to fake something. Literally one match I had this helped to get the fake Spy (who was the DW that made me go dreamweaved), fall apart by the real Spy that went on me the night before it. DW said i was cured of DW only, while the real Spy said I was cured of DW *AND* Proposed by an Admirer. And the real Spy kept hidden their bug. Now, what I feel Pipe tried to mean there is to completely take off from your will the Bug, which fair enough. Reason why I keep one will that I post, and the one with the bugs below it. Once i get the triggers, I pass them to the top and easy to do it that way.

I think the inherent hierarchy of Mafia (GF on top) helps keep the team focused and in line. Meanwhile Coven just feels like up to 4 individuals who happen to be working together.

I disagree. What differentiates being evil in both ToS, is the power from the town. ToS1 has Invest that gives results of a set pool; and a Psychic that works basically the same as ToS2, without visiting, as the strongest TIs. ToS2 has Seer, Socialite, Deputy, Trickster and the new couple of TPOW that make it harder for evils to hide. Not even counting the new Neutrals Most of mafia roles were pretty bad, so they either had to stay home, or they were the GF with a Mafioso. You can synergize with both factions in both games (VM + Poisoner/DW on same person, PM/Witch feeding the Ritualist or giving target to Conj; Janitor and MK on the same person, Forger and MK on the same person, etc), the problem is the people you are paired in queue with for sure to avoid mistakes, but ToS2 you are just enormously more susceptible to other dangers on day and night. You don't have to fear a Deputy, or a Seer finding you as enemies with someone, or getting prosecuted, or be hanged on Tribunal.

I don't really get why some players act like the Arso in that second game. The moment you come out as evil, town is going to hang you if there isn't someone more threatening, like if Death pops out. While town can form a temporary alliance with neutrals, the game simply won't end until one of them is dead. It's not a surprise when town hangs the Arso claim.
