Playing dumb is a common move for players who are newer I've noticed. It's kinda like "deer in headlights" syndrome. They kinda already put themselves out there and try to play it off like they're just really dumb, but that just makes it worse lol

@@CH-wn4le Being new isn't a crime by any means, but saying "I'm confused" is pure fluff. In a SOCIAL DEDUCTION game, you are saying "I don't know the answer to this question". That's not helping, that's you talking for the sake of talking. There's a reason evils love doing it. "How does [role] work again?" would get a different answer, because that's at least attempting to solve a problem.

@@CH-wn4le no one is saying anything bad about new players not knowing roles, the specific situation here is this was likely a new player who isn't used to playing evil. My comment still stands. It is common and it does happen a lot, unfortunately that's sus and you will get hung. That's the game. No one is being mean about it, no one said anything negative here. This game is a learning curve. We are aware of that when we enter a game, and players adjust by being hung like this because if you go easy on every new player then it'll just make evils pretend to be noobs to get by.

It's not like TOS 2 is a massive game and you want to kick people like 12 just playing for fun in the chaotic mode. He thought it was safe to do the play if he messed up then all that happens is a lose screen instead a win one everyone still played out the game he didn't rage he didn't yell he is just playing the game. If winning is the only thing that matters and someone having fun in the game ruins it for you then the game will keep declining and will not rise in players. The games is more RP than hardcore.

No, they did not. Throwing requires you to actively try to lose. Helping a Neutral to get their win condition is totally fine, as their win condition does not stop yours.

Well, yeah...Ritualist/Doomsayer exists. If it's still possibly a rit or doom game (and it's ALWAYS a possible rit or doom game in AA), then it's better to put people's alignments in your will if they aren't already being sussed for something. Nothing worse than a tpow getting ritted because you claimed it to the jailor and they put you down as your role. In tos1 it was fine to put down roles, because a. Investigator could confirm them much more easily and b. there were no roles that killed via knowing someone's role.
