I did not realize that wind had such an effect on light penetration. I never really thought about it before. So say all things being equal except the wind, maybe I would switch from a silver to a gold lure (in general I mean. Not this particular one you talked about here)?

I’ve caught a ton of bass on clown on bright sunny days. I’m I the only person who uses that color these days? I never see anyone else using it.

North west Michigan, in the fall ..You'll see alot of them lures tied on ..they work well for steelhead and salmon ..

@@CATCHAHAWG it’s been responsible for a few 20lb bags for me. We have big Alabama strain spots around here that like them too. I think you can actually draw them from farther away than smallies even… it’s not like a big largemouth won’t eat that color either. It’s just a situational deal is all.

🙄🤪😄 BUT..... - Not in the long run ( extended period of Time) - If FFS is used by an Excess number of people (conditioned the fish) - Many of the population is Dead or Marginalized ( Big Fish are Dead bc they can be easily detected by FFS) Sorry TRY harder (don't TRY cutting corners) 😂😂😂

@kayakfishingforpredators9107 I fish in South Dakota on Sioux Indian Reservations, I have 6 lakes that are water sources for the tribe they very in size from 2 to 3 miles long and are 60 feet deep. In 4 years of fishing, I have never 1 bass fisherman. I got these Fuckers all to myself ....so no they are never going to get pressured, ever. Sometimes, I can have 200 fish days. There is more going on than what's in your little neck of the woods dude.

There is NO LONG TERM USE of 1 or more FFS-units on the Lake(s) There are FEW (you said only YOU: Paul English) anglers on said Lake(s) YOU HAVE NO IDEA ( or didn't mention) HOW BIG (Size or Numbers) the POPULATION of FISH there is on SAID Lake(s). This is very OBVIOUS TO ME, but not to You. Is the Fish population like: A) 20-50 Count, Fish get caught multiple times (to make 200 CAUGHT fish) B) 200 Count, Fish can be caught ONCE OR Some didn't get caught while others got multiple x caught. C) 500 Count , You (Paul) caught almost halve of the population (at best) D) Several 1000 Fish, You (Paul) caught a few % of total population. TRY HARDER ( don't TRY cutting corners) 🙄🤣🤣😬🤫🤫🤫

@kayakfishingforpredators9107 Yep, I am hunting the South Dakota state record largemouth, and the tribal Game Warden says he is in there and has seen 4 over 10 lbs. Our state record is 9lbs 5oz.Oh, and 2 of these reservoirs have 1000 Rainbows and 500 Browns stocked one a year. I just got FFS for Christmas, and I can't wait to install it and use it.
