You kind of scare me, but I play chess against you and try to give a good fight but purposely lose gracefully… until I remember that I hate to lose. So we continue to play chess as I carry out our argument in my head multiple times to avoid missing something. I realize that I don’t really like the conflict so I play both sides of the conflict and then I notice that I’ve haven’t been speaking (instead planning out what I would say). Confused, you walk away somewhat victorious and I file this under one of the many embarrassing moments that keep me up at night. -INFJ

The other person thinks it’s an argument and gets defensive, which leads to an argument. The INTJ gets pissed, because now the nonsense became an even bigger nonsense. I so wanted the INFJ to actually start arguing. As an INFJ, I would have definitely put up a good fight if it came down to something as grand and fundamental as God. Would've used the contingency argument to begin with. Edit (23/7/23): I just discovered that I'm actually INTJ-A. Understanding enneagram with wings and instinctual subtype facilitated this discovery. So I'm INTJ-A 5w6 sx/sp. Type 5 SX is actually counter-type and that was what was causing all the confusion and led me into wrongly thinking that I'm INFJ.

I am an INTJ and that's what I say to an INTP who doesn't believe. I believe that the universe is ordered and there are systems upon systems and laws that govern and that the universe put in place by a Supreme consciousness and that all biological life was engineered and everything is designed and everything that happens has a cause. The INTP on the other hand says everything is random and chaotic. I usually initiate the argument and back it up with quantum physics while he depends on an old book written by an atheist.

Oh not all INTPs are so. I´m an INTP and and I just admit to myself. That I don't know what the origin of the universe is all about. If you say the thing has system - that's okay for me. But how does it work and would there be other possibilities? Some people had NDE's (Near Death Experience) where they meet 4 dimensional beings ( they exist outside of time and space so I call the that) that take them to a Higher plane. They claim we are not the only intelligent lifeforms in the universe that there many solar systems which have habitable planets that a soul or consciousness can choose to to submerge into matter or the 3 dimensional world to experience life. They say Earth is the newest planet, hardest to live in, highly unpredictable and has FREE WILL. All planets go through this process and results in a civilization that destroys the plant or in an elevated consciousness. The reason why new planets are created is for the other intelligent lifeforms to watch and learn from. They also say there are parallel universes or multiverses. Gods seems to love creating and if there are infinite possibilities then why not see them unfold or manifest. Why not watch one person live life in infinite different ways. Why not watch civilizations evolve from scratch (each time a new one is created certain parameters are changed). Collecting information form each one. As a being in the 3d world how can we comprehend higher dimensional beings or higher dimensions. If there is a small possibility of something happening it can or will happen. How can I ever know only after my body ceases to functions and I meet my maker. Just think about these interesting possibilities.

@@mainogabi1996 Well. There is us. Why shouldn't there be life somewhere in a different form? But I want to put aliens, higher beings and time travel on the back burner. It seems to me that the people themselves are falling a bit behind. If there were any great finds of relics, then it is often said: "Oh look how far advanced this looks, people could not have gotten that alone back then." And I just ask, why not? Perhaps humanity is older than assumed. This would have given it a longer time to develop. Why should development always rise diagonally upwards? There could also have been ups and downs when the knowledge was lost again.
