I died to Alpine Sniper 8 times on Hurtgen Forest. He was camping our arty as recon and I got very mad after being sniped a few times- For a good forty minutes, I chased him through the forest near our HQ trying to kill him. Alas, it was to no avail. I tucked my tail between my legs and accepted defeat as the enemy captured our HQ sector. Alpine Sniper, if you’re reading this… I hate you.

Unfortunately, camping the HQ is the only effective counter to the enemy artillery. They need to change the way artillery works.

@@monoespacial I’m not sure if I completely agree, it takes a lot of time to get good with arty, if you change it up a lot you’ll have even less people getting on it. I don’t think camping HQ is an issue, you just need to know how to handle it, for example driving around the area with a recon tank often fixes the issue, or having part of your squad patrolling while the others continue firing the arty. Just like any other part of this game, recons can be ruined with teamwork and communication.

As a competitive Tank Officer I would defenitly say, that the Luchs is one of my favourite Tanks. Of course, he cannot compare with any heavy tanks in terms of "Tank-fighting-ability", but in my opinion it is the best tank to support your own Inf into a point by being shielded by heavier tanks which remain a few metres behind. One of the reasons for this is the extremly high fierrate of the Luchs, which allows to completely block passages, which is sometimes diffcult with heavier tanks, who may miss some Inf because they need to reload.

Honestly, the Luchs is straight up the best Infantry Support Tank in the game. The autocannon and speed allow it to mulch infantry at a far higher rate than all other vehicles.

You can absolutely die from a single tank shell, that's normal. The speed though isn't.

Got satchels on 2 characters working on assault... But not played Mech crew except one time where I learnt that: 1 gun barrel has collision And: 2 (due to pro commander and driver) got 🔥kills lol. Went back to grunts after to get proper game play but really need to explore this side of HLL xD

Very cool, nice work. While the luchs is speedy in high gear it's obviously painfully slow and sluggish in low gear, that was so frustrating to watch you try and get unstuck or turn tightly! Well done tho, takes skill to maneuver like that!

When you are in the hardcap of a point you always get a indicator which faction has more manpower. Is this indicator only valid for the hardcap point itself or the WHOLE 2x2 Squares around the hardcap point? Sadly not a single teammate/sl could answer this question

The Stuart is the fastest tank in the game. I just don't really like the luchs, because you always have to run if there's a enemy tank and the driver has no mg. But true, the luchs is pretty solid 👍🏻 My favorite tanks are for sure the recon tanks. If you really play with tactics, and know the maps, you can definitely destroy lots of tanks with almost no costs.

Against elite tank crews though, as soon as you hit a heavy in the ass once, it's going to start rotating and its going to be extremely hard to take them out.

@@monoespacial true, if you fight a elite heavy tank crew its pretty hard, if not impossible. But i still play mostly recon tanks and I would call me a "Elite Tanker". It's just more fun, because you really have to play with tactics.

I'm torn between the Luchs and Stuart. Both do speed. The Luchs is tough, but a Stuart can kill it. The Stuart also has a driver MG. Best you can do against most tracks with the Luchs is track and run.

I sat in a Luchs earlier this week - solo. A Stuart had tracked me, and was trying to kill me from the front. I tracked him, and just sat there slapping soldiers while he tried to pen my front. It was probably a good 20 shells later when our recon tank drove up to his back and popped it.

Well, you don't really have to ever choose one or the other since they are in different teams.

@@monoespacial it's more of a style. If I'm going to be facing heavy AT, it's Luchs all the way. If I'm facing tanks the Stuart has a much better chance. That front MG also lets you race through the ranks mowing down soldiers. A turret isn't as good at that at speed. Both are fun and often left idle in the spawn while everybody asks for heavies. I've run solo Stuarts often just for the heck of it because of that. It's free.
