They stay the same. Same thought pattern. Once discarded at the bottom, the only way for us is up. They remain in the pit. Dumping someone just makes them feel superior for a moment. I thin it's part of the emotional regulation they need.

Joe - keep it going man. In this youtube space of narc videos - you really do occupy a special place. You have such a calm demeanor about your presentation - which is a huge unique thing that sets you apart from other videos. As you know - lots of narc survivors - literally just need - straight up - to listen to a calming voice. You have the perfect voice brother. No other "narc channel" does this. Most of them are very - I don't know how to say it - "noisy". Your channel is a sonic refuge. It literally sets you apart man. Then - of course - your insights - are always spot on. Your entire mind on the subject is a calming smart oasis. Super spot on. Your whole delivery, everything man. Don't stop man. You've put in so much work. Dude - don't stop. Even that joke you did on a past video when you started your video and said "thanks for watching" 10 seconds in and then joked about it. Man - I loved it man. Totally cracked me up. Keep going brother. Keep being yourself. Thank you for helping so many. Thank you for everything you do brother Joe. Literally doing God's work. Best wishes for 2024.

Excellent video. When I realized it was more about him getting the best of me and “winning” the fight is when I realized there was no love, never was, never will be. Screw narcs! Empty vessels. We all need to wake up so this doesn’t ever happen again once you get out!

It seems there are quite a lot narcissists nowadays.
@myutube58829 ай бұрын
They sometimes discard because they need the ego boost and power reset of you chasing them. However, if you don't and they're too proud to come back, apologize, and admit they made a mistake, then it's checkmate. Go live your life narcissist free!
@myutube58828 ай бұрын
@@doggrl527 I just meant that if someone was discarding you to get you to chase them for an ego boost and you don't chase and they're too proud to come back and apologize, then you have just beaten them at their own game.

I experienced the “New Year, No Me” dump last year-and I packed up and left-no harm, no foul. I was grade A supply-no bragging, I treated him well is all and met his attention needs. Nine months later after his dating other women, even asked a side-chick he “loved” to marry him and she rejected him. He tried hoovering me back because in his words: if you can’t be with the one you “love” then “love” the one you’re with- -I had thought we could stay cordial, but no-and went No Contact-and I’m living a better life. Happy New Year to you and everyone who’s survived an experience with a narc and is learning how to put themselves first and healing.❤

happy new years everybody!! take care of yourselves and know that you are blessed in ways you may never completely understand.....for 50 years i never knew that some people are dead on the inside and are unable to feel emotions like sadness or love. it explains why the world is an unnecessarily inhumane place sometimes..if you have any kind of light within you, protect it, but let it shine. the world needs it.

For all the folks that are just starting this journey all I can say is don't give up it is a nice feeling when you finally can think and talk about this things and feel you have healed and you feel stronger...dont give up don't exit this life thinking about suicide etc because after the process you have to experience the feeling of strength back that feeling of wow if I survive that I can take out anything that comes my way.
@sonlightpsalm9423 ай бұрын
The narcissistic child was trained to ignore their emotions via their parent(s) / captor, so their neural pathways weren't developed properly and they're stuck at the level of a 13 - 16 year old adolescent. They're self-absorbed only with how to get by in life as a self-centered, self-absorbed individual. Therefore, they feel they can not change but can only act like a chameleon to get their needs met, without regard to anyone or anything else. Quite frankly, almost all professionals in the mental health industry say they can not deal with them once diagnosed. The onus is on you, not to hate the narcissist, but to learn to heal from your own childhood trauma, and learn to reparent yourselves and transform into a strong, healthy individual with strong boundaries, and unconditional love for yourself, shedding your co-dependancy on seeking validation through the narcissist, or anyone else for that matter. You don't have to hate the narcissist. You have to understand how and why they operate the way they do, and thank your lucky stars that you didn't fall on that side of the spectrum! 😊❤😊

If you're Super Healed and the narc comes back, and you play with form, it can be the catalyst to the highest level healing possible, that is complete recovery of self worth. You can watch the dynamic and see the exact location of wounds where they got access and clearly see the childhood origins for new revelations of your own worth. Fascinating. Everyone who comes into our life can ultimately benefit us. (Not recommended unless you're extremely knowledgeable and totally in control of the emotional process. It also comes with disorientation, but once you're a pro, you can see things that blow your mind.)

My ex realized this 6 months after I went no contact when I caught him cheating. Showed up at my house to “check on me” but when I started questioning him about his new girlfriend, he got upset and denied her. His adult daughter had told me she picked them up at a motel the day before! I told him I was doing great and living my best life. He left and told his son’s mother that I had screamed at him the whole time. It’s been 19 months, and I heard he dumped the other girl and is living with his son’s mom now. Crazy!

Happy New Year, Joe, and many thanks for what you do! My partner and I ran into my ex narc yesterday, while out on a hike. She was across the street, walking the new supply’s dog, and I didn’t notice her. She yelled “hi,” and waved her arms. When my partner said “someone’s saying hello to you,” all I said was a firm “no,” and we kept on walking. It’s been a year of firm no contact. She divorced me after two weeks of marriage. She already had her new supply when she proposed to me……

Ex covert, fiance reached out earlier this month on my B-Day. He basically blamed the break up on me completely “erased” his brutal, discard. Shared the things he’s doing now (cruises, dancing,etc) that he put aside during our relationship. How he’s working on his communication skills and is seeking a serious relationship. As he said “you’re a good, loyal woman, but not the only one.” He then concluded by saying that he only reached out to wish me a Happy Birthday and to see how I was but doesn’t see any change for us and that he’s learned a lot from our relationship and looking forward to his future. Don’t know what his intentions were for I haven’t contacted him since the discard.
