We're fortunate to have you, HG. There are quite a few sites on Narcs here on KZbin, and the uninformed viewer could get very confused by all the points of view. Continuing to share your name.

Yes. We must help extend the legacy when and where ever possible.... ...and we must find a way to say that which doesn’t sound like a mucky euphemism. Also, since we are ‘tertiary food’ - is there anyone who has any objection to providing the odd tiny snackette? I’d give an arm and a leg to have known all this in my youth.

Anyone else seems to get it half right, at best. Listening to HG, it becomes so obvious he’s the one to go to, and has given so many of us clarity to heal and move on.

I went no contact after 4 years. In his conversation to another about me he said, she left me but it’s okay. He wasn’t bothered at all. He has too much other supply.

It's quite rare for narcs to 'break down', so to speak, after failed relationships. Sometimes they can be 'forced' into therapy by spouses, but many of them are actually diagnosed as a result of seeking help for other coexisting conditions such as depression, for example. Our sense of justice is offended by the fact that narcs get away with causing so much damage to others, but we should not dwell too much on this. It's a waste of time and prevents us from moving forward. They are what they are. They won't change and we can't change them. No contact is the only appropriate response to a dead end relationship.

Thanks HG your Series is a lifeline to me.I am married to a mid range N. and I left once and spot on what a difference l felt free I had my life back again and he sprivelled to almost non existence. A severe accident where I needed daily 24)7 for three months opened the door and let the Spider back in - there was absolutely no one else otherwise and he saw his opportunity but this time whilst recovering I have been listening to ALL of HG TUDOR'S postings and honestly I have laughed AND cried but am so well armed now and using the knowledge gained I no longer feel like a victim and that's exactly how he used to make me feel. I am a RN and will eventually get back to work I don't need him or his 'ways' but now have the task of getting rid of him again - as always HG thanks everso much for the difference you have made love your work 🇬🇧❤️🇦🇺

Best wishes, but we nurses seem to be narc magnets. I got rid of mine 5 years ago and am still suffering the ramifications. Have gone no contact for 3 years and it’s slowly getting easier for me.

Perfect timing, HG. With the downward spiral of popularity and opportunities, very little material (and control over) the Netflix footage, plus the publisher's insistence that JH's book be unrevised..... I presumed the gruesome twosome would fail to maintain their outrageous conspicuous consumption. I also thought their failures would result in bankruptcy and financial embarrassment. Now I understand there will be no moment of recognition and subsequent responsibility for their lack of income. --- as you said, it's a self - contained defense mechanism; nothing is ever their fault. It's a philosophical Mobius strip of blame and regroup, blame and regroup. I stand corrected!

I think deep down, in the privacy of their own home, they will drop their defenses and have a flash of insight...but that apperception lasts mere seconds and they snap back into regular narc mode. Am I right or wrong?

I think it’s the childish needs for consequences for their behaviour. Like when we were little and we were badly behaved we’d get told off and punished! It seems unfair that they can get away with the things they do.

That is revolting, blaming people. It's uncouth. Not strong what so ever. It's the most unclassy thing you can do! Yeh, the upper may get their networks involved but it may backfire with honesty!

The vipers I know have all the home entertainment you can dream up - their home is never quiet or silent which is fundamental for self-reflection ... 100's of DVDs, gaming stuff, ALL cable channels that money can buy - all so they don't have to listen to their own muddy thoughts

HG, I have a question, or maybe several. They concern movement within the types of Narcissists. Is it possible for a lower class Narcissist to move to a place of more and more understanding of themselves, thus enabling them to move themselves to a higher and higher place on the scale? Maybe even to the level of greater? Or, since they are unaware and don’t recognize there is anything wrong with them, the answer is no. Could only a greater possibly move to become an ultra if they were of high intelligence, well educated and pursued the input of “good doctors” since only they and Ultras are self aware? Or when God was giving out Narcissism, He only gave awareness to ultras and greatest and He gave slops to those remaining? Did He say what we always told our children:“you get what you get and don’t pitch a fit.”? I know from hearing your story that at least the Ultra can learn, so why not the greater? I hope you see this. I’ve been puzzling on this question for a while. Also, for whatever bit of fuel it’s worth, I heartily thank you for all your works. What I’ve learned has been delightfully and factually presented such that it sticks in my memory. I find your sardonic sense of humor and wit to be fantastic. You frequently speak my thoughts; most recently on the subject of Meagains being a Fashoooon Icon. I appreciate very much your shoot from the hip method of teaching. I’m glad you don’t waste my time with superfluous chatter, ever. I always take away something when I visit your channel. It is my fervent wish that before you die, you find a way to store your legacy so that as platforms come and go, your work can be electronically restored to whatever comes next. It is too valuable to be lost due to the vagaries of the internet in its current form. One last thing. You’ve said in a couple places that you’re a long way from death. You cite your good health, how well you take care of yourself and so forth. I’m here to tell you that aging is relentless; that diseases you’ve never considered can strike with no warning. Vehicular accidents caused by someone else are killing people every hour of every day. All this to tell you that you do not know the hour of your death, be it fast or slow. Be ready. Have your legacy ready. I know you don’t believe in God or prayer, but I do. What I can do for you is to pray, and so I will. I do wish the very best of everything for you. Mary
