Thanks for this. Very nice. Would love to see you exploring how you'd add more groove to the drums... and how you\d tie the rest of the elements into that groove. Maybe extracting the groove from the original sample as a starting point? Always find this a little tricky to nail.

Awesome stuff as usual. I'm older than dirt so seeing people of your generation loading up a 12 plugin processing chain on a single piano part always makes me chuckle. 'I REMEMBER WHEN WE HAD DSP LIMITIATIONS. YA DAM KIDS THESE DAYS WITH YOUR THREE EQs ON ONE TRACK. WE HAD THREE PARAMETRIC BANDS AND WE WERE HAPPY WITH THEM!' Hahahahaha. Sounds great though. One thing for another video, I always wonder what scenarios are good for using warp inside of a simpler when working with loops and hits and what parts are not. I've read the doco, but i don't have a really good intuitive feel for when it's a good idea to have warping on and when it's not. Just an idea, but I'll keep on watching, your quick workflows are inspiring.

Thanks so much for the honest feedback haha. I can work on a video with warping in and out of simpler and some cool sound design stuff. Thanks for the suggestion 🙂

@@khartbeats - your clips are honestly among the best on all of ze tube. Great combo of 'make more with less' and solid advice. I 100% watch even when the vids are about genres I actively dislike. There's always something to learn. Thanks a ton for the work you do!!!

killer killer killer track. 95 is a fun bpm and this is a smooove way to ride it. im def staying tuned for the drum grit ep. ive been doin pretty aggressive techno lately and use things like ableton's erosion to really add some nice grit to sounds. kinda fun how lofi hip hop and peak time techno can be so different in vibe but have such similar aesthetics.
@khartbeats11 ай бұрын
And thanks! Yeah, it’s amazing how many techniques or elements can be transferred between one genre to another. Erosion is a great tool, especially for drums!
