So sick! I’ve been wondering how people make their tracks move so much. I’ll start practicing this! Do you have videos on how you start a song like this? Where do you prefer starting? Chords? Thanks for everything you put into this video :)

Would have been nice with a more in-depth explanation on some of the parts you went over a little quick. Like what LUFS are and why you used makeup gain on the glue comp to overcompensate for the compressed sound. But thanks for sharing your workflow with us;) Cheers!

I have a question- why resample instead of freeze and flatten? Is there a difference?
@khartbeats2 күн бұрын
They basically end up being the same…just kind of a workflow choice. I usually resample because I like to keep my original MIDI or whatever it is just in case I want to make changes later.

This is so helpful. I’m trying so hard to learn how to make Lofi! I play bass in a band so maybe that’ll help with the bass lines 😂 How did you get the bass to fill in so much and be so thick sounding? Definitely subbing! Thanks!
@khartbeats6 күн бұрын
Playing bass should definitely help! Best way I’ve found to get the bass to sound full is by cutting the low end out of most other instruments so they’re not competing. Also, adding some saturation to the top end of the bass helps! Have fun and thanks for the sub!

Thanks for sharing! I love synthwave. I'm still a beginner with Ableton, does anyone know how she dropped the 707 kick on each 1/4 note so fast, what are the steps to do this, thanks!
@khartbeats8 күн бұрын
Hey, thanks so much for checking out the video! Unfortunately, I don’t know a way to put the kicks down as quickly as this…I edited the video to cut that part out. Quickest way is to duplicate, so select the amount of time (like a bar) and then cntrl + D to duplicate it across.
@pennyc70648 күн бұрын
@@khartbeats Thanks for replying. Ok, I know how to do that. I thought there was some more advanced technique that I was not aware of 😆. This is the first video of your channel I have watched and will check out more!
