Landing a pile bunker on the true final boss was annoyingly good because I don't think I could ever replicate it again. Their attack missed me because I dodged and ended up perfectly behind them for a backstab. It was stupidly cinematic.

Closest thing to this that i remember doing, was playing as a cosplay of Risk of Rain 2's Mercenary, fighting Allmind Iguazu with only Pulse Blade + Laser Blade and fist as extra. Winning attempt on Phase 3, i Assault Armoured to stagger and then cleave his health by about 60% of the remaining half. I managed to chain several hits afterwards without being interrupted too badly, and imediately he, sure enough, was about to seal my failure again and take my head clean off my shoulders, but i did a hail mary with one more attack as he was just about to swing and decapitate me. I struck him one final time in his chest, winning it after many failed Malenia-tier brawls. I had 00055 health left.

When I killed ayre whilst she was blowing up I had used the Plasma lance right as the screen was fading to white and it looked like a cutscene never had a better feeling than beating my girlfriend The ayre fight was cool too

I got an epic final fight with iguazu(allmind ver.) I sliced him then when he tried to slice me one more time i kicked him and his arm exploded and we both we falling to the ground and then boom greatest boss fight i ever had

This is Sekiro's director's 2nd FromSoftware directed game. It makes sense that this feels like Sekiro. TBH, I didn't think he was going to be making AC. I thought Miyazaki would (which is still highly unlikely) as he made AC games before.

I mean, yamamura didnt directed sekiro but he was an important part as Game designer, i feel Miyazaki give the development to him bcs he just like Yui tanimura(ds2 director, he worked as director of ds3 and Elden ring too along with Miyazaki) are people of trust and Miyazaki wants more ppl that do Game direction in Fromsoftware

Miyazaki already stated that he doesn't like anything that has nothing to do with western background. He likes doing things that will make Muira proud. Sekiro is an eastern game so it really isn't his forete. This is one of the main reason why he never really put his resources with Armored Core as soon as he became head of FromSoftware. It was Yamamura that made one. I think Miyazaki will soon step down and this AC title was just prep work since it's tradition at FromSoftware to do AC to test the marketability and longevity of FS's flagship titles. It also follow suit to how Miyazaki became president. He was some planner or designer for The Last Raven then became director for AC 4th gen. My guess once Yamamura finishes his 6th gen series and it is a success, he'd take the reigns of FromSoftware.@@lalouwu6371

It’s a real shame that this game was a GOTY nomination. Especially since this franchise has made huge changes. But instead Mario was nominated and that feels off. Landing a melee attack is punishingly satisfying at AC3. But for me, both charged laser sword and charged pile bunker have the best sound effect and design. How the hell 5 smaller laser blades creates a single long laser blade.

Now I'm pretty confident that it isn't true and it was just good timing, but there were several instances with the slow-mo death of a boss where I let go of the shot I had been charging or finished a melee combo and the boss seemed to stagger from it, as if I was pummeling them even after they hit zero.

God I hated this Fukin boss. More than balteus. I actually think I only died like 4 times to mr middle spam before I nailed down his patterns, but this one? God I had 20 retries with this and all because of that stupid ground pound move with aoe as well as that free hit he gets off on you at the start of that fight. I ended up cheesing it with a tetrapod that had dual mini guns and dual songbirds

I hope if they come out with a continuation of this or some successor they add a bit more customization to the armored cores, don't get me wrong I love the weapons and parts that we get as is but it feels like there could have been more selection and customization, I also feel like it would have been fun if we could cannibalize parts from other mechs that didn't count as AC's the heat blades from the normals for example, and the parts from this gigantic Mech right here, not to mention the LC's from the PDA. I mean the models and attack patterns are already in the game. I'm also disappointed with the the strictness of the map levels like how you can't just immediately jump up to the top of the Strider until you chop off its leg even if you have enough thrust we could have gone without extreme map limitations, hell it would have been even more fun to actually have a hanger we could walk around in and interact with to customize our armored Core but these are all just my personal opinions I still love the game I just feel like some stuff was cut from it, would have definitely liked to fight the giant eyeball satellite maybe even have some missions in space as we've seen that these armored cores unlike their previous iterations are actually capable of operating in zero gravity environments.
