Yes, so true taxes insurance wages GST in Australia. Lots of different things you have to pay for. .

(Varies from business to business) That's what we have to add to our labour costs just to get to 0, then you pay tax: ~32% on your own wage and profit Edit: and people never realize if we give them a price of 20k, 10k of that goes in our bank and straight back out if it's a full supplied contract, and then you usually gotta pay all the labour out of the 10k that's left, and concreting is a team sport so plenty of that goes out of your bank to pay the boys and all of that shit I just mentioned up the top there!

And the client has transferred all the risk to the contractor . The client will now get the job done for the agreed price . The contractor must complete the contract even if he loses money on the deal for whatever reason .
