I watch this when things are going well for me. It reminds me that what I'm doing is working and that I can do right so long as I practice good habits. It sets the goal post for the mind so I know what I need to aim for when things go bad. Trying to balance out salt with aggressive amounts of sugar doesn't work. Do what you know works, not what you may think might work when you're in a bad spot. Controlled action is king.

"Never worry about anything out of your control."
@TiberiusMachadoАй бұрын
Sometimes it's isn't 100% clear what's in your control and what isn't. Is it in my control if I find an apartment? You would think, well, of course it is. Look around, make a few calls, boom, apartment. Or. Or. Or it doesn't work like that at all. It's a lot bloody harder. A lot. I can't control who just rented to someone else. But hearing that 5 times in a row, 10 times in a row you're denied for one stupid reason or another. You start to wonder...is this under my control or not? It seems like there is a huge element of luck, to this, and life in general. Timing is damn important and we just don't know when or where sometimes. I know for an almost certain fact that I will find a place. It's only a matter of when and where. Maybe the girl who's sitting across from me who keeps smiling wants me to move in with her...oh wait no that's her bf coming over, well no wonder she was smiling at me she needs a new bf... The wisdom to tell the difference. I don't know if I have control over this situation but I'll pretend I do because any other attitude is useless. We can all have what we need if we know where to look. Did you ever hide something temporarily in a public place? You know it won't be stolen because only you know about it. Theres stuff like that out there right now. Imagine how many other people have done that. How much money or drugs or guns or gold or ...whatever. is hidden right under our noses. It's more about knowing where to look and how to look, just looking, searching...it doesn't feel right.

Let us also assume this space is like so many others and has gadgets for the storing, and preparation of food. @@TiberiusMachado negative thinking can often be a downward spiral, a self fulfilling prophecy. I do get road rage. It's never because I'm late, it's only because I'm witnessing stupidity from someone operating a potentially lethal machine. People who suck at driving so badly should never be allowed to drive.

I used to think like that but whenever I honk I usually then come to find out it’s an elderly driver and feel guilty. That being said, an elderly woman wiped out almost a whole family in SF the other day, so….
@chrisjansen1943Ай бұрын
@@BetaBuxDelux The elderly are the absolute worst. It probably doesnt help that I live in an area with a higher-than-average senior population. They just shouldnt be allowed to drive, and I stand firmly on that. A senior man drove his car straight at me and my 4 year old daughter while we were walking at the crosswalk last month, and I ripped his car door open and screamed in his face. This crossing area has a stop sign, and he didnt stop at all. All the while he just smiled and acted like he was in a completely different universe. Absolutely nuts. Try a Lion Diet for just 60 days. No cheating. Water, salt, ruminant meats (Bison, ribeye, lamb) important to eat the fat and do not trim it off. Lamb or beef liver once a week. No alcohol, processed foods, sugar, or carbs or plants of any kind. Just meat, water, salt. Electrolytes if you start cramping. Our nervous system and neural networks are dying from poor nutrition. Plants can also be harmful. Give it a try, what can it hurt, but don’t be surprised after 60 days your fog is lifted. Edit ( the 1st 3 weeks might suck as your biom adjusts).

The truth hurts and I'm chronically leaving with just enough time to get to my destination. I'm ALWAYS on time, but often with not much to spare. I've obviously know this forever but it helps to hear someone else call it out too. I think the fact that I am always on time has made it easier to put off fixing the issue but the sole metric of on time or not doesn't touch what always rushing and wondering if you're gonna make it does to your anxiety level, mood, etc... and what ripple effect that can have in the short and long term over the rest of that day.

I agree with what you're saying. I hate going to airports so my solution is to buy my own plane. I hate waiting for the bus so my solution is to buy my own car. If I cannot buy those things than I don't travel or I walk. So I just try to avoid things that I don't like and this avoidance capability is a reflection of the freedom I value more than anything else in this life. But when facing the big picture in life I always try to imagine the worst thing that can happen in any situation and then accept it. For instance, if the worst thing is losing my life than I accept that before I go in. So I live as if I have already died and by doing so my adversaries have no power over me because my desire is no longer to guarantee my own survival but rather to do as much damage to my adversaries as possible before I do. If I end up winning before I die than that's great but that is not the primary objective. Winning is not the objective. Destroying my enemies is my objective. My example is how Samson died. I want to die that way. I don't want to waste my death.

It started with him break checking me so I backed off gave some more distance, then he stopped in the center of the road, so I went around him, during my attempt to pass him he speeds up. So I go around him, and the dude proceeds to follow me 27 miles and over 3 highways. Followed me into a dead end row where he pinned my vehicle in, made 3 attempts to leave. Until I had to pull my firearm on him! 1600$ in Legal fees and my charges were dropped. Fool is still out there running the streets. I lost my job and car cause I was late for work and legal fees screwed me.

Super important things to be cognizant of -- especially if you happen to be an addict; especially if your mental health is already in a vulnerable state. Breathe. React don't engage. Adapt. Find your flow again. The line will move eventually. If you give in it can be ugly. It can go very, very bad and you may become the guy having a whopper freak-out over the most minuscule things that only you notice. I operate a larger vehicle, a death machine, 55 hours per week and I do get road rage when these buffoon mouth breathers catch up to me at well above the speed limit and then in all their brilliance decide to move in my blind spot and idle there. If I once, and only once, fail to catch this behavior I could end up being responsible for deaths on the road. And do you know how often this happens? Pretty much every 15 minutes. I don't know what is happening in their brains. We have 3 lane roads, I'm doing the speed limit on cruise control on the right lane. Here comes Katja, overtaking me FAST, passing me, but then... She switches to my lane, Slowing down, gradually, down to below my traveling speed. Now I have to over take her. But when I do that and I get beside her, she'll speed up like a girl possessed. I insert back into the right lane. But Katja is now on the middle lane, doing the same shit, slowing down, until I'm beside her again but this time I'm on the right side of her, (in my country you don't pass on the right), and in all her brilliance, she matches my speed, and sits directly in my blindspot. There is no rhyme or reason to any of these actions, but this happens ALL the time, I kid you not. This is a form of CIA torture that will break anyone.
