When things go wrong! Huge Waves Flip Jetski and Throws Rider - Rescue in Nazare

This was a tow team that was making a rescue in Nazare when they got pushed inside a little too far. The jetski was flipped by a huge foam-ball while the driver was trying to push through the whitewash. The huge inside foam section is one of the worse places to be stuck. The Powerful foam-balls make short work of anything in their way, as show by how the 1000 lb jet skis are thrown around like they weren't even there. Luckily the ski team was able to return to the ski without any injury. This is a good reminder of how things can go from bad to worse really quick here in Nazare.

PWC's have 50% less power when trying to get thru all the white wash foam. The jets are just kicking out foam and air. Glad all involved are safe and Thank You for posting.

Everyone taking a jetski in the ocean, my word of advice as someone that grew up on skis in the ocean. Never play around in white wash like this if you’re inexperienced. If you’re in an inlet, stay away from shore.

It needed to get drained of sand in the engine compartment. But these newer skis are surprisingly robust. They were able to ride back to the marina after all that. Haha! I have footage of another incident where the ski nose-dived straight on to shallow water and broke the s**t out of the fiberglass nose. I might post that one later haha. Everyday it's something totally crazy happens out here!

These are swimming pool rescuers trying to rescue people at the sea. They should hire someone from Brazil or Angola to their rescue team. To teach this dudes to let it take some time; and learn a bit the sea waves pattern. Because it takes years, of casual beach life to gain: the skill of wave pattern reading. This way; the next video ain't gonna be shown on CNN for the wrong reasons.
