When to Build a Systems Map

Wonderful. Thank you for sharing! I`ve been following this channel since it was named Complexity Labs. It inspired me to work on systems thinking. I think that the creation of a map helps understand how information flows from one subsystem to another (or from one element to another) and how feedback loops are established within the system - these are the constraints that regulate system behavior. Mapping complex systems in practice is really overwhelming, though! I`m applying the framework to fieldwork in multi-agent systems with the help of computer scientists. It`s somewhat of a rabbit hole.
