When to change your rubber or bumpers on a pool table or billiard table

Very good way to test and Yesssss my rubber is good on my 1963 Gold Crown. Doing a complete restoration. Must have been changed.

Great video, love the wrench test. Any opinion on Artemis vs Olhausen Accufast as far as speed/playability? About to replace my older Olhausen's rubber so naturally leaning toward Accufast, but have read that Artemis is good too (of course either would be K66, just asking about quality comparison). What if the rails are hard? The ball bounce too hard.

If the rubber is hard then you will have what is called a dead rail. The ball has no bounce . just a thud!

Looks like a Gandy rail.
