Yes you can. It just takes a bit more effort to not get wrinkles on the ends.

What is the trick to doing the corner pocket ends using Simonis cloth?

Do about 500 sets. LoL. Simonis on bar rails is very difficult. It's all about getting the end to end stretch just right. I know that doesn't help much but that's about all I can say about it. Order some extra rail cloth, or cut up an old bed cloth and practice as much as you can.

The coin operated tables with detachable bumpers should have a fold in the side pocket. It can be done without a fold but if you do it that way, you're doing it wrong. Any mechanic/installers with thousands of recovers on those tables will tell you that. It's about playability and abnormal wear, not how good it looks when it's first done.

There is no need to fold the side pockets it can be Stretched to make a much cleaner looking job. Mercury ultra is one of the easiest cloths to use.

It can be done that way too. But I feel it puts too much pressure on the point of the cushion. It causes the cloth to wear through much faster and deforms the rubber as well.

Zach Jonas I am sure we have both done thousand of tables . When done properly it will not Deform the rubber. I live in the town where valley tables were made from the 1950’s through 2000 when the sold to dynamo.

Is that fold visible from the placing surface on the side pockets?

It is visible, but does not affect the ball when hit into that area of the rail.

What is the measurements of the rail cloth for this rail ?

The width of the rail cloth is about 5.25 inches wide and 5 to 6 inches longer than the rail is.

Great video! Just one question I noticed you did two different fold on the ends. Is there a reason for that?

Thomas Navarro The different ends are for the side and corner pockets. I like to fold the side pockets because it takes all the stress off the point of the cushion. The corners get stretched around the point with no fold.
