Love those old brunswick tables. I had a 60s brunswick sport King I restored. Left all the cigarette burns in the rails. Your off to a good start. I say paint it white to stay as close to original as you can. It's a time piece in my opinion. Looking for ward to the rest of the series. Thanks for sharing.

I restored a Goldcrown 1 that was a mustard yellow color. I went and changed it to gloss black.

To bad you didn’t get to use the table, but at least you still have some cool accessories
@80club454 ай бұрын
@mulhollenbilliardschannel654 even today I still don't have room for it lol, table was huge but cool it had the return ball system and also had the plastic skirts that go underneath the table

Is it possible to disassemble a pool table that has been flipped over? The pool hall that I used to play at shut down abruptly and everything was left there. Then there was a fire in lower part of the building, people went in and vandalized the entire place and stole the feet/levelers off of the bottom of the gold crown II’s/III’s that were in there.
@mulhollenbilliardschannel6542 жыл бұрын
Wow that’s crazy, but you’d have to flip it over to take it apart.

Thanks for the reply. I think that the tables might have been gold crown I’s. It would probably have been a huge task to find out who owns the building, get permission to go in, flip them to take them apart without damaging them further then get them out from the 4th floor of the building.

Hey! I have an old Gold Crown I saved from someone's storage. It had been sitting forever and was in danger of getting thrown out. Would you be able to point me in the right direction to restoring it?

Do you mind if I ask what you paid for the table? Im in the market for a GC 1, 2 or 3. I’ve found a couple GC1 tables that were in similar condition to yours and the guy was asking $2000+ which seemed super high to me, but i could be way off base. I’m having a hard time gauging the market. It hasnt been super easy to track one down. Thanks in advance!
@mulhollenbilliardschannel654 Жыл бұрын
Yeah that’s way high. This one was $800 and it came with a bunch of extras. Needed a ton of work though obviously

I am thinking about buying an old Gold Crown 3 which has been sitting in a shed for a few years and needs a lot of work. Have you found any issues with the timber moving after years in storage?
@mulhollenbilliardschannel6542 жыл бұрын
Not really, only issue was some stripped holes, but I show an easy fix for that in the next episode. Any other Questions? Good luck!

Gold Crowns shouldn't play like a Diamond. I started to cut the video when I heard that mess..lol.
@mulhollenbilliardschannel6542 жыл бұрын
I don’t mind the way gold crowns play, won a Tiger Tour event on them . But just about all high level players prefer the shape of a diamond pocket.
