Is your nose perfect now or u have some breathing issue?
@Pianosnail123 жыл бұрын
@@bhavyavijay1635 man it’s been a struggle mentally more than anything. I go to the gym 6 days a week, really helps me in life. So it’s been 6 weeks now and I’m only starting to do light training again. But breathing wise it’s sooo much better, and looks better although the swelling is still there. Thanks for asking

@Creating Contentment with Kimberly England yeah I’m happy all in all. Breathing is so much better, life changing in fact. It’s still a little swollen in places so will have to wait a while for the final result looks wise. Good luck with yours though, it’s really not that bad!

How was it? Did it suck? The process I mean.

@@Fall2YourKneez I can deal with uncomfortable, but was there pain?
@BruceWaynge2 жыл бұрын
@@sanchez5963 I got it 2 weeks ago and its only painful for about 3-4 days after the surgery but thats just because they accidentally cut a few spots when doing the surgery. But even 2 weeks after I still have blood dripping from my nose and going down my throat and it was very painful and messy to have the splints removed but only 10% of the people who get this surgery have a splint so if you don't get one then you are one lucky son of a gun but in the end its all very worth it, after about a week after the surgery I felt I could breathe better and wasn't getting congested as bad as before but I still have to tape gauze to my face because of the bleeding but besides that I think its pretty worth it.

I just had the same 5 days ago Septorhinoplasty due to a Deviated Septum. I am happy that I was able to breathe immediately after the surgery! Furthermore, I have a new nose as my nose is hump free and straight. Just going through the post surgical symptoms which is nasal dripping/feeling flu like but I have decongestants. Overall happy and recommended but requires patience as it has a long recovery.

I just got SeptonRhinoplasty yesterday 3/24/22. No pain at all. No pain after I woke uo from surgury, no pain now after 27 hrs. hopefully it goes like this.

Can I ask how much did you pay out of pocket,and if insurance covered anything?
@sauloz882 жыл бұрын
@@jewelzsparkz my insurance covered apparently. I remember I received the approved letter from them like 1 month before surgery. The dr said that for me to have a optimal result, she will have to straighten my nose so the insurance should approve it.

I would like to discuss few things with you 1. Had DNS , Crooked nose 2. CRS worsened during last 5-6 years 3. Underwent septorhinoplasty 2021 plus right FESS done 4. 2022 again 2episodes of sinusitis 5. Regularly on medical therapy 6. Left middle concha bullosa . OMS blockade. Right lamellar middle concha. 7. Constant symptoms blockade, poor sleep, headache. 8. Last 15days again sinuisits ( pansinusitis ). MSSA isolated. What's your opinion? For persistent CRS problem 1. Middle conchoplasty with FESS ( how likely is the success rate according to your experience over the years ) 2. *Do you prefer to reduce inferior turbinates along with FESS* ? ENS chances?
@Ambersworld03 Жыл бұрын
will turbinate reduction cause empty nose syndrome ?

Hi Angela , I have no smell and minimal air movement in my right nostril caused by a significant caudal deviation to the right which essentially obstructs the right nasal vestibule. Do you think septorhinoplasty will give a good functional outcome? And is there a risk of losing the sense of smell altogether with this surgery?

How did it go? Did you have to get an ent and plastic surgeon or just one surgeon? I’m so confuse I am getting approved for septoplasty in 2 weeks and want to know if I also need to see a plastic surgeon if I wanna have them both together
@dogsrulecatsdrool56352 жыл бұрын
@@ariamacias128 I will be honest. I hurt SOOOO bad after and now the doctor says it takes a YEAR for all the swelling to go down. No one said that before surgery. That being said, I guess I’m glad I did it. Get a jar of Vicks to rub under your nose. It helps with the pain and dryness. Get a humidifier and get a vaporizer that takes healing oils. I am doing SOOO much better since I got these things!!! Sleep with both on and you will do fine. It’s a hard road, a rough surgery, but I’m glad to see the changes in my breathing and I like my “new” nose. 🙏🏼👍🏻💐

Doc Is there a higher risk of having a rhinoplasty done when I have septoplasty & turbinate reduction for sleep apnea, (from a united states ENT / Plastic Doctor) ? I have severe sleep apnea, tonsils & uvala removed, now my airway dentist says if your having septo done you might as well have the rhino, does this increase the risk of a failed septo / turbinate reduction or for that matter increase the chances of success because the ent plastic surgion can shape my nose favorable to function better?

Very well explain. Thank you, Angela

I seen a ENT and I'm getting surgery for Rhinoplasty and Turbinoplasty. She's straightening it and getting rid of a small bump. Can you straighten it without septoplasty? I'm kinda confused about that 😅.
@DrAngelaSturmMD3 жыл бұрын
It depends on if the part that is crooked is the bone or cartilage or both. You can straighten a nose without a septoplasty unless the septum is very crooked and is what is holding the nose to one side or the other.
@POKEFAN0232 жыл бұрын
I’m guessing rhinoplasty is to straighten it or is it the other way around?
