Man i cant say enough about what your videos. Im not a social media guy at all but im hooked on watching your videos. Im sitting in 8 ft of snow in NW Montana wishing i was catching crappie in Arkansas or Alabama. Im 52 and been fishing my whole life and your skill at Crappie fishing is no accident. Hi My brother ! I like using the braid for feel to. We have one lake in missouri where the crappie will only hit your bait when using fluorescent green line, nothing else works.

Hey Ant nice video Brother.. Question: do you ever use jig and bobber method to catch them during the spawn. Not that you need to your method seems to be working just fine... I was just wondering if you ever do I never seen you use a stopper it's fairly shallow lake that I fish so I use a bobber ofter to keep me off bottom

Only time I use bobbers is for my double rig set up... check out my how to catch doubles video. During the spawn the fish are very aggressive no need for a bobber even if fishing shallow. I've fished under a bobber when I fished the swamps though, shell crackers and blue gills in the Lilly pad marsh

I was always told since a child that when the dogwood trees started blooming the crappie were spawning. Went out yesterday and caught 9 nice ones.

I've heard that too as a child, but our dogwoods bloomed 2 weeks ago and the spawn isn't in effect. Im thinking that it applies to smaller shallower waters like a pond.. I appreciate you Chrystal, stay catching them slabs. 💕

How to you tie on jigs is their a loop space thru eyelet or knot tied tight

@@davidmossman5230... I started out as a bank fisherman so that's where my roots are. It wasn't until I was able to get out on a boat to truly understand the water and fish migration better. This is why everyone is a pro fisherman in the spring when the fish are on the banks. When summer hits this is when a true understanding of fish migration is important. I may do some pond fishing in the future on the banks though. I appreciate your support,thanks
