My husband is isolated in lock down in a nursing home without access to family or visitation. His care is covered by private insurance, Medi-Cal, social security with half of his retirement, I am on disability and we both live on half his retirement and half our copayment toward his nursing care. We own an old mobile home and pay monthly rent that increases every year. My concerns are for him! Not only can I not sell our home, because the price will go toward his nursing care leaving me without a home, but also he is still hoping that one day he will be able to come home. I am a Seventh-Day Adventist and have devoted my faith since my conversion. My prayers are ever increasingly intense and surrendered daily seeking the Holy Spirit's direction. My husband is not a member of my faith, though I have prayed for him for the past 45 years. I don't want to live in the city! Please pray for me and my husband. Do I just leave him? I don't believe that God is asking me to abandon him? God has counseled the believing wife to remain because she doesn't know the influence she is having. My faith was surrendered to God after we were married. Since then I have considered him my mission!

Michelle, don't dismayed, keep on praying for your husband. For God and the Holy Spirit have been working deep in his heart. For 60 years my Mother and I were praying for my Dad. We never did gave up on him. At the age of 80. He went along with my sister to SDA Meetings at church. They both decided to be baptized. For a moment I couldn't believe it, I had to go and witnessed this great event. I took a plane and flew all the way back home just to see my Dad being baptized. It was the greatest joyous day of my life. I cried of joy. My Dad told me to be still for Jesus had won the Victory. Three years later, he passed on peacefully. My Mother just passed few months ago, with the hope in her heart that she will see Dad again in the kingdom. I will be praying for your situation. Hi Michele,I’m not anyone to give advise.I just waken up and this is the topic that was in KZbin.Our father in heaven is the one we should trust and seek when things are difficult and also when we have joy in this life.Two scriptures come to mind just reading your comments about what’s happening right know in your life.The Lord said trust in him and not in your own understanding because his thoughts are not your thoughts and his ways are not our ways.Also I’m married and I remember the Lord said also what God has joined let no man separate.Hope this helps sister and let the light shine..God bless your life.Amen.

Same here, I am in the process of a relocation. The conviction or feeling to do this was very pronounced and lengthy. I have recently been “ looking back”, its been a struggle but I know that this did not originate with me. So, I am going forward! Just the past few days have reinforced the decision.

"Sola Scriptures" The Bible and the Bible Only is a doctrine we live by and is why I finally joined the Seventh Day Adventists. Sunday worship is not scriptural. God never changed the day of worship from the Seventh Day to the first day. Why do many christians keep nine commandments, but think it is ok to change the fourth one? The fourth commandment is the only commandment that starts with "Remember". God knew we would be tempted to change this one. May God bless you Ed.

Wow Doug, I lived in Covelo, California in 1965 I turned 16 years old when we lived there. Knew Babe Crumrine and Arnie Hoeshower. two people I remember back then. Was there for about 4 months. Round Valley. My husband and I now own nearly 24 acres up on Mount Spokane, near Spokane, Wa. We tried to sell several times but God keeps saying NO. We are now building tiny houses out of old dilapated trailers. Some of our children, grandchildren plan to come here and often are. We do have lots of deer, turkey, grouse, A creek withing 45 feet of our home. Huckleberries, elderberries, Other wild food. We know how to preserve food via canning, drying, and salting. We have a treadle sewing machine. We have canners. We have plenty of fire wood and wood heat. We have garden area. We have thimble berries too and geranium nubbins, apple, nut and plum trees. We have chickens and plan to get some goats next summer again. I was raised Adventist not anymore but we are Sabbath keepers Ekklesia Church of God, New Covenant Saints. www.ekklesiachurchofgod.com

This is the channel that help me daily growing in God´s grace, the channel where people have been praying for me whenever I ask and where I felt inspired to study theology at Middle East University. So, my new semester starts on monday , I didnt registrate because of money and the administration this time told me that we are prapering a ticket for you to go home. Iam so stressful and so humilated, I no longer have courage to go out beacuse all the student know that this semester Andre is going home , for many times the university just told me no money go home but this time, the university wants to buy a ticket for me to go. my family, freinds and I are so dissapointed.Although the university has done a lot for me, I do not want to have a luxury life being PASTOR just serve God, but semester by semeter I see faint possiblities to reach this goal, because I do not have sponsor...please pray for me I need a miracle. Prayers for you, Andre. My sister had a miracle happen when she went to Australia on a one-way ticket and ended up where they had already messaged her not to go. She got the message when she was already flying there. God opened the doors and she is thriving there. Something that helps me when I don't know what next is to ask God to show me in a very obvious way that I cannot mistake what I need to do next. Also, willingness to do whatever He is asking. He will show you.

Jesus was NOT on the cross on a FRIDAY!?! That is a Catholic construct = Good Friday to Easter Sunday (which for the Gregorian Calendar is Friday Night, Saturday DAY time, Saturday Night time, & Sunday when it was still dark). That means only One Night (Fri), One Day time (SaturDAY), & Another Night (Saturday) or actually one Jewish day (evening & Morning...after Sunset at the End of Saturday Sabbath Jesus did not need to be in the heart of the earth) Friday night (Hebrew = Saturday Sabbath starts at Sunset) and Saturday daytime to Sunset when it becomes Hebrew (Jewish) Sunday. God repeats Himself in Matthew 12:40 stressing the importance of the message in Matthew 12:40 KJV "For as Jonas was THREE DAYS and THREE NIGHTS in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be THREE DAYS and THREE NIGHTS in the heart of the earth." ***Let's take our clue from JOHN 19:31 "...(for that sabbath day was an high day,)..." At the time of Christ Jesus Yeshua there were SEVEN HIGH SABBATH DAYS, so why do all the respected 7th Day Adventists not know this??? The PART-OF-A-DAY theory is ALL WRONG, consider that the Bible tells us that the Sabbath was drawing on them, so that means Friday was a very SHORT DAY! To live is Christ to die is gain.....why on earth would you run to the county, unless you really like it there. Besides true Christians will be caught away with the dead in Christ and will never suffer God's wrath.1 Thess 5 : 9 Christians are never given instruction, in Revelation, from chapter 4 onward Christians are gone, til after tribulation. Some people will become Christian as they go through the Tribulation. We're in the world, not of the world. We have some SDA freinds, they heard this talk, they're close to 80. They have gone out and bought 150 acres of raw land up here in Canada. Starting from scratch at that age is nuts. Now their going nuts, finding out how much everything costs, and how much work it is to develop. They told us how much they prayed about it etc., This advise from an ex hippy is causing much grief for these and many others, who have listened to this nonsense. We told them just trust the Lord Jesus Christ. My wife and I are grateful to not be monetarily rich....what a blessing.

Our freinds attended the SDA college in Lacombe Alberta, and have listened to Doug Batchelor longer than we have. Mr. Batchelor's theology, soteriology, as well as his eschatology are almost as twisted as EG White's. He has followed her written work quite explicitly. The Great Controversy, which is a mixture of truth and cultish practice. I say these words in love and peace, not mockery and hate. We don't have hate for our SDA freinds.

Hi Mica, I just felt that I should share this with you. God speaks to many of us through dreams and what is described as intuition. Other people have visions, and others can hear his voice just like He is standing right next to them. For many years I wanted to hear God in a way that I thought He should, but I noticed that He wanted to speak to me through very vivid dreams until I was ready to hear His voice in other ways. Remember, God is our father and as a parent and we are his children. All children must crawl before we walk. As a parent, He is there standing in front of us, encouraging us as we are crawling, standing us up, helping us build those muscles in our legs to prepare us to walk. Pray and ask Him in what way He wishes to speak to you. He cares about you and he will answer.

What are the words Christ has said to live by: Whatever is True, Pure, Honorable, Just, Gracious, Lovely, Excellence, Worthy of Praise. Where are the words 'violence' or 'watching violence,' or 'listening to violent lyrics,' or 'programming violence into daily existence,' or 'competition,' or 'promoting sensuality,' or 'allowing someone else to suffer while you allow another to live comfortably,' or even apathy and waiting for someone else to do something righteous first,' to be found in the Word of God's words of : Whatever is True, Pure, Honorable, Just, Gracious, Lovely, Excellence, Worthy of Praise? You don't have to be a genius to see who and what is anti-Christ. Just listen to yourselves, listen to one another, and listen to entertainment for what is being honored and praised, even those who praise the images and content of any media venue. The world DOES NOT have to come to be completely shredded by evil, to expose evil; this is apparent by the evil which is obvious. Does there need to be more evils, that matters be taken more seriously? You look for being carried away in the spirit. If Christ's words ARE NOT BEING CARRIED OUT in a person, a person is not going anywhere near Heaven, until Christ's words are. You are delusional if you think you can take the kind of excess garbage you have cluttering your mind, through the Gates of Heaven. Wash the robe. And if you don't honor Christ's, I am Ariel (Incarnate); Abaddon, Apollyon, Angel of the Abyss. I hold the keys to the Abyss. I am nemesis (enemy) of anti-Christ and I will cast those who deny God, Christ, and Holy Spirit which dwells within them, to their destruction and seal it over them. What I have seen is that the writings of Ellen White (regarding what the SDA Church holds dear), is really informative regarding health issues...(way before our time....also, historical issues Biblically). I'm thinking she really took her homework seriously and depended on her Bible with the help of the Holy Spirit. I also find her messages historically informative (helping us learn about a lot of what was happening at the time she references....she gives a lot of really helpful reference material of certain times in history). But, also.... Please check out Dr. Chuck Missler. You will be glad you heard some of his sermons! He is so brilliant and probably a genius by today's standards. Even though this man believes in the Commandments....yet does not keep the 4th....I take his sermons....as just that....HIS SERMONS! But like Ellen White....I am so moved by what I read and I hear from them both. I gauge everything by what my Bible tells me....with the help of the Holy Spirit .... I do my homework Biblically. But I absolutely have to remind myself that the Bible tells me (if God is for us, Who can be against us)!

It’s unclear what you’re trying to say here...if you mean we’re not required to keep the Sabbath you’re taking that scripture out of context. Paul is referring to the Ceremonial Law there, which was “nailed to the cross.” But the Sabbath is one of the 10 commandments...the _moral_ law, which is eternal and immutable.

michael dillard Exactly, the Law of Moses IS the ceremonial law.. But just as many laws we have today often fall into more than one category (thou shall not kill for example falls under both the civil and moral law) the Sabbath commandment falls under both the ceremonial law written by Moses _and_ the moral law written by God Himself. And while the ceremonial law was nailed to the cross by Jesus sacrifice, the moral law (of which keeping the Sabbath is the 4th commandment) still stands and will stand for eternity. Christ himself said, ““Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, *one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law”* As I said before, the moral law is immutable, it cannot be changed. If God could change the moral law Christ would never have needed to pay the penalty for us violating it. The simple fact that our only salvation lies in Christ’s substitutionary death/propitiation totally vindicates the fact that God’s moral law is eternally immutable. Also in Revelation when John is describing who belongs to the remnant church, he writes “those who _keep the commandments of God_ and the faith of Jesus.” The Sabbath is one of those commandments. “For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in _one_ point, he is guilty of all.” Jam 2:10

It’s not about having the spirit of fear. It’s about fleeing the wicked cities and their influences, especially if you have children. Also, we’ll need to grow our own food so we’ll be able to feed ourselves and others when we can’t buy or sell. And we can get closer to God in the country. Like he said, we still need to regularly work the cities.

I also think it means to lay down our life as He did in this world(for our friends that they may also live) and live together with Him in life everlasting. Any portion of our lives that we redirect from personal interests and gain to the eternal lively hood of others would seem to fulfill this example that Jesus has given us to follow, like His example to humble ourselves and esteem others higher than ourselves in the washing of feet. When we help others to rightly divide the scriptures in spirit and truth, Jesus through His spirit continues His work of reconciliation healing the blind to see.

Seventh Day Adventists definitely believe in hell. It does last forever. Forever means until all the unrighteous individuals are completely consumed by the fire. Then the fire (hell) is done, extinguished. A loving God would not want people to burn continuously throughout eternity. It is only for their destruction.
