Hi Johnathan. Firstly, thankyou for doing what you are doing. Your helping a lot of poker players improve there game. The time and effort you put in to our learning is much appreciated! Unfortunately, with working a full time job (50hrs weekly) and playing and studying poker (40hrs weekly) i struggle to see you live on "a little coffee". I have bought many of your books (hardcopy) and read them many times, along with carrying out all free tests and studying on your site. However, i have not signed up to be a member as i feel i wont get the benefit due to the amount of time needed. It's hard to give up time i play poker and win for more studying :-(. I have a question though...I have been using your HUD settings for a couple of months, Thankyou. I have watch your short video on the HUD set up. I dont think it is in enough detail colour codes ECT. I and im sure others who use your HUD settings would like a more detailed video. I hope you read this and agree. Much appreciated and thankyou again for your help!!

Thanks, I'm glad you're enjoying the content! I'll look into expanding the HUD video and info. Also, check out Alex Fitzgerald's Master the HUD series for more general HUD info.

Most people have a second device they can use for charts instead of risking it getting caught by the site. Sure getting good so you don't need them is ideal, but it doesn't and wouldn't bother me if rookies want to use charts. It makes it even easier to play against them once you realize it.

Wish I could get away from top pair top kicker against two pair and a set.... More often in tournaments against non maniacs

People usually underbluffs a lot in these spots, so unless you can find a lot of possible bluffs, folding can't be too bad. But look, we arent really planning to make a lot of big folds, especially against maniacs. Try to study these hands afterwards, and play more, eventually you'll get there John. Best of luck

All you have to do is fold! :)

A problem I run into sometimes is wondering if I should enter with decent to good hands (i.e. T9s) when I know or pretty sure that two players are going after each other very aggressively and have been for a few orbits.

If a “tight” straight forward player calls your big raise preflop, then leads into you or calls you OTF and then leads into OTT, it’s better just to fold, especially TP, even 2 pair, read the broad because a lot of the times it could be a straight/set or an over to the broad. I learned this the hard way 😂😂

Love how Jonathan "reviews" his kid's head splitting open situation just like any other poker hand.

I was wondering if I could get your opinion on a specific hand in my final table: 4 handed, UTG limp calls, I (button, 10BB) have KQo, went all in. UTG calls with A9o and I lose the flip. Everyone was at 10-25BB. Thank you in advance!

I went to the fundamentals and found PPT slides, is there any audio or video to go with them or is it just the slides?

Good show as always. You seemed a little agitated today. I would guess bc of your kids head injury. Hope he's all good. 🤕
