"mmm....I need me some dirt!" LOL I can tell when I've had a massage, my heart rate consistently rises for a few days afterwards. And I still probably don't hydrate enough during the day while working at the desk days following massages. This is a really interesting service for people to look into. Hopefully it's like most things, as it gets more main stream, the cost of the service goes down. So us regular people can consider it.

I typically get bloodwork done about 6-7 weeks before a peak race. That should give you a decent amount of time to get your levels back up to kind of normal, considering you are still taxing the body for some time ... And yeah, sleep is of utmost importance, and quality nutrition obviously is too. Also, insert rest days or at least recovery days when your body needs it. Listen to it!
