Sir, I am 42 years old and wearing progressive glasses but while reading ( I read approx 8-10 hrs) it disturbs me for looking through a particular section. I dont use computers very often. I am thinking to get executive bifocals for ease of reading. Is it a correct decision?

my age 43,for the last 3 months i've been using hoya progressive lens(-4.25/+1.0) & though near & intermediate vision is good, not at all satisfied with distance vision,sharpness is not as earlier, can't see tv or peoples faces which i could see very sharply with my single distance spectacles, going to try bifocals.

I am 49 years old Diabetic for 23 years wear reading glasses approximately 8 years but approximately 7-8 months ago feel distance vision is also not good Dr prescribed distance and reading glasses I asked optician to make progressive glasses he said first use bifocal for some time I lost my glasses after 5-6 months went to another opticians for progressive glasses he said people who don't use progressive glasses from beginning they can't use progressive is it true?

It is not like that You just have to give 15 -20 days to try progressive glasses Out of 100 80 percent people are comfortable
