Very good i should have seen it soner i invested on one march full gold inf set but when i started archers i went for purpule and gold pieces health and defense because i understood that i couldn't da a cav set in time for the next kvk

Awaken 2 then crit before you go further. Archer and inf boots awaken 4 (or 5) first

@@68Busdriver I ss this and sent it to my friend... he's been arguing about this for me over the course of a couple days... I told him I was going tier 2 for iconics and then I'll work on critting( I was going to do the same for boots, tbh, I probably will still do the same since skippy/che is a speedy boy, and I already have the 4 peice set) but he insisted that working on critting was better because it'll give more stats per bp/material... not if you have to go 25/25/25/25 bro Thanks for this comment, maybe now he'll finally listen haha

I think you should get the minimal gear for a march (so archer: full purple with legendary chest inf: blue weapon legendary helmet and chest rest purple cav: all purple with legendary shoes optional legendary chest and helmet) then get both accessories before upgrading further i also feel like sending out marches without at least a ring is straight up asking for bad trades so i just field 4 marches since i only got 4 rings

For inf id recommend shios and sacred grips to f2p/low spenders, if march speed is needed down the line go for iconic 4. Others are quite bad for them as they need a lot of gems

For archer do you recommend doing 4-2 like you have it? Or would 2 kvk - 2 set - 2 leadership / 2 kvk - Milky Way - 3 leadership be better? I’m nearly f2p so blueprints are really hard to come by that’s why I would use the kvk gear because the blueprints cost coins.

You have one horn and one drum. I know you aren't excited about drums because of the cool down. However, the advantage of adding three more drums to your seven march set up is that four drums will cover all seven marches and save materials. You can still keep the one horn for Garrison or a future rally or put it on your Engineering march. Just my two cents. 😊

It’s a 10% to trigger. Which means in 10 turns there’s about a 35% chance that it won’t even trigger once. I’ve had to answer this question a few times in the comments now…. But when you’re calculating average rage per turn…per March the drums are going to do less. If I run 3 drums, the average rage it gives my 7 marches will be less than if I just had 3 horns. The argument for the drums is that it costs less to craft (and refine) but it actually cost the same as the other accessories to get to awaken 5.

@68Busdriver you need 4 drums for 7 marches. Drogothein's video covered this topic years ago. Otherwise, you'll need 7 horns. Many top players use either option. If you can afford the materials, go for it. 👍

@@davidw.5185 the benefit of a horn to a March compared to a drum is 3x the value. Even if you get coverage over 7 marches the average rate of rage gained will be slightly less than 4/7 of the value of the horn on all 7 marches.

I think it would work a little better for smite compared to skill damage commanders but based on how I understand the stats to work I think that would be worse overall

If you don’t have some kind of tankiness on the field you lose effectiveness too quickly since damage also scales with how much troops you have

I see. With what you said it would really only wok for hit and run and switching targets constantly as to not get targeted. I think it works if you have a commander like Liu Che with the extra attack and Alex with the instant proc. Thanks for the feedback

I agree with bus, that 10% march speed is crazy crucial for infantry. My theory for the kvk pieces, leave them for the rally/garrison, where speed isn't so important. For inf, I think set boots, gloves, helm, and weapon, and hope cloak, karauks humility crit until you can at least awaken tier 2 eternal night. But karauks humility can take you a long ways, where you can focus on higher priorities on other sets for a while

Super high cost of Accessories for terrible odds of firing off (chance only) VS permanent better stats in all situations always firing. Choosing accessories whilst underpowered and hoping by chance they fire off will bring pain for many seasons, in your frustration and on the records sheet. Your taking a beating in all areas imaginable, the second those terrible odds fire off, the output and the receivers end is minuscule. Now back to punishment until terrible odds fire off another non deathblow. * lets not forget you can save 120 legendary mats by simply chancing one inscription that does the exact same thing* or buying the inscription in the KvK shop*

You’re not choosing between whether to have equipment or accessories. The choice is actually between upgrading from epic to legendary equipment or get the accessories. Let’s take something like greatest glory for Liu Che. You get a permanent 5% increase to normal damage and smite damage. At some point you have to do the math and make a call which one you are getting more value per legendary mat.

Epic equipment grinding away saving for seasons to afford an expensive accessory whilst being outclassed in all areas by someone with legendary equipment and only purple or blue accessories. Have general accessories to suit and save for best equipment to suit. The pay off ratio, reward for effort ratio, bang for buck and the ease of hitting Kingdom targets asked and personal targets or KvK targets wanted, become easier. Thus trickles in more presents to carry on. The other path is longer, more frustrating, negative mindset, thoughts on quitting, harder to reach targets asked or wanted etc.

And also full legendary and purple/blue accessories actually loses to epic/legendaries (the right upgrades) and legendary accessories

@@68Busdriver I would say that and I would say when it’s not always the case, that’s a one off low probability. Higher stats that are permanent and always active will trump underpowered stats that need chance (1 in 10) to bring some 2 seconds worth of whatever result. 10 rounds of combat to statistically fire off once, hoping your still alive by the 10th round or your underpowered performance wasn’t significantly hindered to see something minuscule take place. Mats spent scenario : 120 mats you cannot save in one full season. I’ll take the 2.5 avg equipment upgrade instead route. I own a ring, horn, dagger, just did greatest glory 3 weeks ago for this KvK fight coming. 4 x Delanes, 5 flags, 5 stratagems. No intention of doing any more legendary accessories until equipment on remaining marches are at best suited. Additionally, the implementation of armaments and their inscriptions have devalued the need due to exact same or similar results of most legendary accessories, without the burden of 120mat grind cost. @@68Busdriver for my benefit, could you go into some detail about what you mean with this please? My experience was, after 12 Legendary equipments were made I finally got my first crit. It was on Ash of the Dawn (legs) 13th item. Those legs were the 2nd in total of that section. Previous legs was INF set legs (which was my first early game mistake I made) For me, 13 forges for finally a crit was me thinking this is normal, or Lilith truly hates me. Current game status : 20 legendary items crafted in total, still the one crit from Ash of the Dawn.

@@graemefeeney2256 every craft you have a 11% chance to crit it. If you craft the same item and haven’t crit it by the 5th try, then on your 5th turn you’re guaranteed a crit. If you crit it before that, then the counter resets

@@tsyforka you mean the harvester chest? I’d take the 10.5% attack and 3% March speed personally. Also, defensive stats isn’t as important for siege because often you’re only taking back counterattack damage.
