I agree with you completely. It is amazing how all of this Torah in exile is coming on the surface. Thank you, and a lot of hatzlacha and good health to you and yours.

I found out a couple of years ago that just learning Torah wasn't enough. When the spirituality is removed, then religion becomes a dead thing. The hardships in life are a real thing, just learning isn't enough.

@@ACL-ul7sn I've been with the NT. It's riddled with Pauline nonsense. Christians think they know what the holy spirit is but they don't, and they can't receive it if they reject the Torah. You can disagree all you want, you're free to remain in a cloud of ignorance. But I've been truly set free, the Torah is truth and life, and it'll NEVER be put away! You seemed to have misunderstood what I was saying. I didn't say the Torah was not valuable. But simple reading of it is not enough. For Christians, they act the same way with the Bible. That was my overall point. Religious people have a tendacy to just focus on extreme literalism but it sucks the soul out of the scriptures.

@@ACL-ul7sn this nonsense seems to be reared from the letters of the Hebrews. Trying to "spiritualize " the sabbath. But here's something you need to go think about. Christians all proclaim that they have holy spirit. According to Yeshua, it's supposed to guide one to truth. Problem is, Christianity is composed of over 1000 different denominations, each one calling the other a liar and a heretic. So it stands to reason, that none of these have the Holy Spirit. And they don't, because holy spirit is divine prophecy. I understand that protestants have this weird thing that they think that their own private interpretations are inspired, but thats precisely the problem. You risk falling into the trap of blasphemy against the holy spirit, according to Yeshua at least. Don't be arrogant. Go unlearn and relearn like I had to do.

Rabbis won't look at you crazy because Judaism has a spiritual tradition that acknowledges that "voice" but it is attained via meditation, just like the prophets. You're the one that has it wrong. That "voice" is not holy spirit! We all have that voice, regardless if someone is a Christian or not! Go unlearn and relearn like I had to do.

A lot depends on how Torah is defined. :) Learning Torah can be broadly understood as the process of discovering infinitely compassionate enlightenment.

I know Torah and math are not the same but math was a part of my childhood trauma. In college I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown, I fell apart emotionally taking college math. Not because I didn't understand it, but when it came to testing out my mind would go blank. I love tests! I have always challenged myself. Hashem began to unravel certain points in time as a child when I actually used math to block out the trauma that was happening to me, so as an adult those two were fused together until Hashem helped me separate them so I could deal with the trauma itself. It wasn't the math, I love math today and can do it without wanting to throw up or cry, and B'ezerat Hashem, He helped me heal of the trauma, but when I did I wasn't alone, Hashem was with me.

How about when you have people that hold on to the sayings that if you attach yourself to a tzadik (R'Nachman) that one is able to enter Gan Eden. However, R'Yochanan Ben Zakkai cried on his deathbed because he didn't know if he would enter Gan Eden. How do you reconcile this?

Isn't this teaching is kindof saying, no worries on Aveiros, just attach yourself and I'll get you in? Please clarify thanks!

He’s saying you need a healthy balance of both… learning Torah, allowing it to transform you with good middot, attach to tzadik, repeat.
