Bones is just different. In a sport where everyone has their own thing, he for some reason is just different. He's big but not too big, nimble, powerful. He's not the guy you say "watch out for his power" or "watch it for his striking" or "lookout for his wrestling"... You go in the octagon with bones and you better be in your A game and be thinking 5 steps ahead because you best believe this man is already 3 steps ahead of you as soon as that bell rings and he's got a counter for everything.

Great cardio, chin, wrestling, subs, kicks, knees, fight IQ, and footwork. The only thing even close to a weakness is punching power, and his combinations make up for it. … As a wrestler he was a champion at every level he tried, was getting a spot at any top program his Jr & Sr wrestling seasons, but went into mma instead. Even still his pedigree was a little bit better than Usemon’s D2 champion wrestling background. And his two brothers are first round nfl talents, Jones has such a sick background, you’d create his background, if you were making the greatest fighter.

@@hoodiegriffo There is concrete proof he was on Turinabol DURING his 2nd fight with DC. However, being on a steroid DURING the fight is not the primary benefit fighters derive from steroids. There is concrete proof he was using steroids in training PRIOR to his first fight against DC as well - which you can see by his testosterone levels. It's much more beneficial to be on steroids whilst training, and then come off them in time for the fight so as to not get caught - whilst still maintaining a huge advantage due to the increased strength, stamina etc. So basically in both fights he was most likely using PEDs in training and washing them out of his system in time for the fight. The second fight was a mistake in that he did not intend to have turinabol in his system DURING the fight.

If that was the case, than the UFC would be filled with so many Jon Jones-level athletes that we can fill an entire fucking lab with them. But as we can see that's not the case.🤣

7:37 is some very smooth and advanced movement that we don’t even see happen to this day. Jon was way ahead of his time, washed up.

DC is truly great. Love watching him fights great fighters like Jon and Miocic. But we know how great Jon is. Since he got his first contract in UFC. These were amazing light heavyweight fighters🤛💪👏

You don’t have to like Jon Jones, you don’t even have to respect Jon Jones. But I promise you this man can beat Daniel Cormier’s ass any time any place 😂 DC and his fanboys can cry about it but, from strictly a fighting standpoint, Jon absolute mauls this dude.

Well seeing as he needed to cheat by using PEDs both times I don't think Jon Jones actually believed that. I think at HW in his prime DC would win against the clean Jones we've been seeing lately, but who knows...
@DeKayNYAC
@DeKayNYAC 2 жыл бұрын
@@RichardVSmall If you wanna chalk up Jon’s strength to PEDs then all the power to you. Doesn’t change that from a technique standpoint DC literally cannot hang with jon. Bones is a better grappler and standup fighter.
@RichardVSmall
@RichardVSmall 2 жыл бұрын
@@DeKayNYAC Your argument makes no sense. You CANNOT objectively assess someone's performance when they have been using *performance enhancing* drugs to cheat. That goes especially if you're measuring him against someone who he has only ever fought whilst using PEDs. "is a better grappler and standup fighter" - I'm not even saying that's not true, I'm saying YOU CAN'T KNOW THAT because he was on PEDs. I swear Jones fans have some sort of mental conditioning where they just can't understand that performance enhancing drugs *enhance performance* making it impossible to determine who is the better fighter - that's why the second fight is a *NO CONTEST* . There was no fair contest...

I like that they still touched hands before the fight, and I’m sure DC didn’t expect that from Jon, but he definitely respected it, because at the end of the day I’m sure on some deep level, they do respect each others capabilities

They definitely respect each other as fighters, they just cannot stand each other. If one had a chance to kill the other, they would, especially Jones. He showed no hesitation when he said it.
