INFJ Life Coach Lesson: INFJs are often considered to be old souls, but this does not mean they can't also have youthful energy. They might seem mature early because of their intelligence and empathy which allows them the insight into life's important matters so soon after birth - sometimes even before adulthood! In fact INFJ individuals are actually one of those rare "aging well" types. This has everything do with how deep they understand their emotions rather than just appearances.

I’ve spent my whole life feeling older than my biological age. Your comment made me realise I’ve been telling people I’ve aged backwards for the last 2 years at age 37. It’s like my personality flipped without changing or me noticing. Super weird feeling.

When I was young, all my friends were older, some adults; I loved listening to old guys talk about life. Now that I'm in my sixties, all my friends are young. Seems like I knew it was going to be like that long ago.

Within this box, age is a state of mind. People tend to use the numerical value as a judgement anchor to maintain mental stability and map their position as they journey through their reality. If you understand that time is relative and are comfortable with floating freely you can assume a position of any age, at any time, and it will be very difficult for people to assign an accurate numerical value to you.

I completely agree, except after a point the mirror shows the face of reality 😄. Here’s the thing most people don’t realize. Whether 28, 58 or 88, we are still the same person we always have been - we feel exactly the same on the inside. It’s just our shell that changes.

When I was younger, I felt older. I related to older people more than kids my age. Now, I think I feel like I am younger, mostly because I realize that I missed out on my childhood for many reasons. And this video coming out today is weird! My birthday is next week and I am not excited to be 28, at least not yet 🤣 But I have felt a sense that I need to start taking steps to reach the goals I want to in my life. I graduated as a social worker last year, but still haven't found a job. Now, I'm looking into possibly getting ny master's degree in social work. This will give me much more options in my career.

YES! 1000 %. Nobody and I mean nobody thinks that I am 59...they are think I am in my early 40's. I think it because I am genuinely a happy sweet person at heart HOWEVER I just got out of a 40 very very LONG relationship/marriage to a malignant narcissist! I had no idea who he was AND didn't know that I am an INFJ-T, HSP, empath PLUS Cancer sign. NOW I see everything very clearly AND I now know that I am not crazy by reading people and situations. He stole my intuition... They literally steal your whole being...they steal your life! Therefore it shocks me that I can still be so young in every regard after almost dying...he almost killed me in many ways!! 🌷🙏❤️‍🩹😢💪💪💪💪

🤔Well, if at 1st you believed yourself to psychologically age in reverse then yes. And the topic of chronological age always reminds me of my pops and what he used to say. At age 50 most people would guess that he's in his mid 30's. I blame this on bein' Asian cauz we either look very young, or we look really ancient. And when he finally met Abraham [which is a ritual when you turn 50. It honours a person gaining knowledge through practice. The Netherlands’ Abraham (50th) Birthday Tradition is a ritual that many people look forward to and a reason for a great festivity] 😉he told me: *"When I was much younger than today I was young & beautiful.* *Now that I finally reached the ripe ol' age of 50 I'm only beautiful."*

With dyslexia, I have no time sense at all. I do not have a timeline in my head. The only difference I have ever felt between when I was little and now is that when I was little I needed more information and adults don't like to give you any. Now that I am an adult, I attract children because I answer questions until I can't talk anymore😆

I'm in my early eighties. People think I'm in my sixties, far from young, but not falling apart old. My mind is young, however. I'm still thinking and learning all of the time. Still interested in knowing what is true, what is happening and the why of it all. Life is a learning experience for me. Formal education just taught me how to learn by following my own interests. I'm not afraid of dying. That is just the next level of learning for sentients. I'm very pleased that the younger INFJs can learn their lessons much more easily than I had to. Wenzes is doing a wonderful job in creating a learning community for INFJs. This might very well be the next step in human evolution. The possibilities of having us connected in a community are so exciting to me. Some of those grand INFJ visions might come true after all.

This video resonated a lot! I always felt like I was soo much older and wiser when I was little! Now I feel like I’m reverse aging - Benjamin button-ing 😅😜 I just turned 30 but I look the youngest I ever have and feel like my child-like play is finally out now! But I do feel like my goals have been influenced by the matrix world and that is what makes me feel like I “should” have achieved more by now based on age! Plus the dreamy, idealistic nature that has me knowing all that’s possible - yet seeing that it’s not quite here yet

So relate to what you said..'questioning existence itself'! Fortunate you have got so much insight into your INFJ self. I am just getting educated at 53 😃 Love your very poignant point of taking a step in the present so that it helps my future INFJ self. Too many times we have let fate take us on a journey and at times I have been blind sighted!!! So thanks for this very valuable advice... Being in the present was a blissful 8 years when I spent time with dogs doing petsitting and being in the here and now is what we did every single day! So thankful! Nature helps big time to live in the present. Plus following up on what we love doing something we truly enjoy. Be for me art helps too. Writing. Journaling.

We will create, accomplish things in the present that will last into the future, or be a part of what we are wanting to accomplish in the future. Wish I could have joined the bootcamp but currently I am taking those steps and taking action to my next goal. I have always felt that I was behind my peers and juniors in the normal aspects but looking at everyone I knew and know, their lives are not perfect no matter how much further they got ahead, it seems like they missed something fundamentally important along the way and I think it was they didn't find who they really were and that emptiness comes through now so they have to make up for it in other ways. What's really sad is that they will always try pull you into their spiral of misery but being who I am and knowing what I want or who I will or will not interact with always keeps me from "integrating" with normal people. I know I didn't make a lot of the right choices when I was younger but I honestly didn't know who I really was or what I really am or capable of so it is what is. I am going full steam ahead with my new venture, I put intimate relationships on the back burner for now but if it happens it happens, if it doesn't then I still have a purpose that I am working towards so keeping my focus on that. In some ways I feel like my age might be a bit of a factor but if you really love something, you should do it regardless of what some other people think. They got to their goal and they are bored with where they are at in life while you still have a ton of room left for growth and that sort of upsets them inside that you still have that ability to dream and move forward with a vision they can't see. Just my theory based on observations and personal interactions.

Do I feel younger than my chronological age? Yes. I'm motivated to keep moving and improve all the time. My health, my mindset, and behavior. I do listen to music from older generations, exhibit "old fashioned" ways, and have a work ethic of men such as elders like my grandfather, father and older men I worked with when I was younger. I listened to the stories and advice. However, if I must adjust in order to adapt to changes, then I adjust. I stick with what works and use common sense.

Interesting to viewpoint that the people we connect with are mostly way older or way younger than ourselves. Could it be due to the potential of transferring wisdom from one person to the other? I always knew about myself that I wouldn't connect with most people around my own age, simply because what's driving them is either uninteresting to me or they don't have any qualities worth acquiring for myself. It's always the ones with way more life experience I flock to and listen while also doing the same in reverse for a younger audience.

My first teaching experience was with piano lessons - and it later grew into school teaching - and I enjoyed working with a lot of different age groups. It was a matter of trying to match the level where they were operating and communicate in a way that they could understand. Perhaps being empathetic and bring "old soul" helps. The interesting thing in my experience is that the older I get, the better the communication has gotten! It has helped, rather than hurt, my communication with young people. And older ones, too. 🙂 I like your emphasis on Se, and a lot of my present activities in teaching ("the present" always being the best time to be in!🙂) came as a result of my - sometimes difficult - choices to practice Se. But at this point in life, after practicing Se for many years, it's not as emotionally taxing as it used to be. The emphasis on acceptance of the present has helped me to relate to the point where "age gaps" aren't much of a problem. I try to stay contemporary. Basically, I'm contented with my current work, but I can work on improving what I have already. Always room to grow!

I literally don’t even think about it and just live my life. The people who are in my life are what matters, and not addressing important interpersonal relationships with friends family etc. I’ve learned this years ago but thank you I’m at the point of being healed it’s just where I want to b. I agree, and thanks for the great takes. I am 50+, and the first half of my life was chaotic and I just thought I was defective in that I could not relate to myself, let alone others. It was sad and confusing, but I had more growing and self work to do. I could go on and on, but won't, but I completely understand what you are saying and feel more myself with each passing day, and life is quite fabulous. It was a process, but I am living it and am very satisfied with life and am grateful for all I have experienced and learned, as it brought me here, where I am today. Thanks again. Every day is a gift that is why it is called the present. I had to radically accept my life not when but WHILE I'm in the process. This is the lesson life taught me in 2020 and I literally advanced my perspective. I do sometimes loop into oh I wanted to this by this age. However, it takes away from the present element and joy in right now. I'm getting better at taking tangible actions than in the best year after year having the same goals written out. Now, I'm in action and inheriting the fruits of my labor. I found my vocation through volunteering and attempting to create new opportunities from it. Doing a little everyday is helpful but new to me!

Bodies get old, fact. Of course (imo) nobody is a body. You're a spirit. Not physical. Not 'young' 'old' or anything to do with time. Just are, no beginning or end, immortal You have a body, like you have a car for example. No matter how connected you are with your car, you're not your car are you? (sounds funny). Then there's the idea of many lives/lifetimes. True imo. There are such things as being aware, wisdom, and truth (what is true for each of us).

7:27 😎I live in the moment by being pragmatic. To me being pragmatic means when the rubber meets the road ea when my theories are either true or false. I'm always geared to recognising objective truth, cauz only this way will I be able to recognise danger for what it is. Example: *It is very important for me that I can distinguish rational fear from irrational fear.* Rational fear is healthy & productive while irrational fear isn't. I'm generally auto-didact and to be able to learn from my mistakes I've to be able to recognise my own mistakes and the only way to do this is by being brutally honest. The moment I start lying to myself is the moment my profiling won't work anymore anywayz. 10:12 😶I try to live a life without regrets, which means that I try to do the important things as concious as possible.
