Some days absolutely do not go as planned. On this day, I got a mouse, almost hit a deer, drove through questionable weather and had tire issues. Hi Annette. I've had mice in my truck, too. I've worked in pest control for 20 years. The places that people like us travel, if we have mice, they are outdoor mice (field mice, kangaroo mice, etc). It isn't like having mice in a house. They have different behavior. This is why your food wasn't eaten. These guys are just curious and stupid. Nothing to worry about. They leave on their own. Mine did, I posted a video about it. Its good to see you on the road.

I actually hit a deer in my second car the week I bought it brand new off the lot. It only broke the light bulb no damage at all the car car only need to change the passenger bulb. I’ve ordered fashionable warm wear. I guess I needed to cool off after my crazy morning! 😂

And what hiking boots did you get and do you like them?? Gotta get something for the wind cuz I'm out every day in a class and I'm not punkin' cuz wind or cold. Love my hiking boots but I want to check out more. Lots happening! You would not believe.😂🤗 Edit:feelin' the pain tonight, physical and Realization -- people get this on their deathbeds. 2nd day of class, the teacher gave me 2 new things to work on. but i get to see inside at every stupid thing i ran to do since i was 20 and how far i could be if i didn't toss away the wisdom that was repeatedly placed in my hand. 1001 good excuses why, but ultimately, all on me. they say the body and brain repairs and cleans itself during sleep. better get to dreamland!! tomorrow's a new day! and i'll find a new way (at least to me :)) Let me know about the windbloc!

I saw another KZbinr that uses peppermint oil and moth balls in mesh bags and places them near the tires & hangs one under the hood when stationary. Maybe that'll help as a deterrent.

Too bad that you are not close to me. I changed my own sensors and replaced them myself. I did have to invest in a TPMS tool to read and reprogram the sensors into the vehicle's computer. ($150), 4 new sensors ($40), and tire bead breaker tool ($50). However, I did the same job for two vehicles ($25 for another set of sensors). $265 investment into it to fix two vehicles and tools to keep for any future TPMS job. That mouse ruined everything!😭

Wow, this does not surprise me at all. Do you have the sensors that you can see the PSI via Bluetooth on your phone? If you have a link I’ll buy them off your affiliate link. 😃

@AnnettesVanTease Nope, it's a machine to read and program the sensors into the vehicle computer. This is beyond your skill, Annette to accomplish with it. That's why they charge you so much! Toyota sensors can't be read via Bluetooth.

Yeah, rodents are smart creatures and will adapt. They may get used to any lights eventually. I have a creepy memory of a mouse walking along the kitchen floor as a kid in the day and a mouse walked over my foot while brushing my teeth as a kid too. haha The best solution I've found is just putting food in air tight containers and food trash as well. Regular traps or humane traps around and plugging up any holes under the van and engine that may lead into the house. Good luck, I feel yr pain. 😜

Oh no! I bet those childhood nice memories do stick around. I think we took care of the under area while I was in AZ and have lights that are supposed to deter. I will definitely be storing food differently going forward! I appreciate the tips!

That was definitely mouse droppings, not coffee grounds. Not to mention mouse pee. The mouse is probably long gone. A trap with peanut butter will do the trick though.
