I always get the opposite reaction. "You're not putting her back in public school are you?!" It's at least partially because how much my daughter has thrived since we pulled her out.

Thank you for this. I had a good laugh. The reason you give for keeping your daughter at home is entirely selfish. "[You are] going to miss her so much. [You] are going to miss this bond." Maybe you have other reasons, but that is the reason you gave.

I just tell them NEVER. I don’t give them any explanation. None of their business and I don’t have to justify anything to anyone. And plus I love to see their face when it’s just a plain “NEVER” lol 😂 Hey and btw my child went to a private school TK through 2nd grade and it’s not as bad as public schools but it’s not a place I want my child to go come back to, so public schools is definitely not an option for my child either. He loves being homeschooled!!
