Great video but so devastating. If there was never a ban in 1920 and the women’s league kept evolving under FA, imagine how much bigger women’s football and women’s sports in general would be these days. There would be less naysayers underselling it’s quality. These footballers were suppressed by a bunch of patriarchal old men who couldn’t bare to see a women’s league popularity compete with the men’s. There is no reason why best women players can not be on par with professional men on tactics and technical skill. On professional level the limiting factor is physical. Women can not be not strong and fast enough for high level of football. Most 17 year old football boys are so strong and fast that they can overpower pretty much any women team in the world even though the women would be more skillful. But that is the case only on team level. All women team will be under powered no matter what but there are still place for smaller and/or slower individuals if they have great skill. There would be some professional women players if there were no segregation on football. Not in champions league level but still on some professional level

After all this, it's incredible to think we are one of the best international sides in the game - shame to see so many still rehashing the same arguments from the 20's which banned the game in the first place.
