Honestly im surprised that they didn't get noticed by simply using their voice let alone the armor and other oddities but i imagine later that day after boarding they were caught
@TT-Rex6 ай бұрын
@@lonewonderer7657 Eh, it's possible. We've seen clones before who have had injuries that completely alter their appearance (like Chopper the clone), it's not hard to believe that a somewhat bad genetic batch or battlefield injury could cause a change in voice. And the amour take is a bit silly, as in real life, the survivors of military units that are almost completely destroyed are often merged with other units, creating hap-hazard groups until later on when command can step in and reorganize them.
@lonewonderer76576 ай бұрын
@@TT-Rex ok that's a fair point with the voice injury, i just feel they wouldn't last more than a day on the ship though as their actions, movements, dialog and other stuff would start being noticed and seriously how long could they go without removing their helmets?
@TT-Rex6 ай бұрын
@@lonewonderer7657 Yeah, it's unlikely, but It really depends on how diligent the command staff are on doing headcounts and keeping an eye out for spies. Venators are pretty big, and we've seen spies find a fair amount of success in the show (while actively sabotaging the vessel) and since all they're doing is trying to blend in, they might be fine. So while it's difficult if they somehow had access to food or battlefield Rations, and hid in some airlock or docking port, they could potentially escape investigation until they reach another planet (but it's fairly unlikely). It's why out of the three scenarios I came up with for the ending of this story, two of them end fairly badly. Also, if they somehow got access to a bridge officer's uniform or some technician outfit, they could pass as one of the Non-clone crewmembers (once again, hard, but not impossible).

I love this story. I remember reading it years and being somewhat surprised that the innocent family were against the Republic. Even back then I was no fan of the Republic and wasn't particularly interested in clones (although Commander Cody was still a bloody legend) and I always understood that the corporate leaders in the films weren't real separatists, but I had never seen 'real separatists' before, and it was weird seeing that they were just a normal family trying to survive. The fact that they opened fire on whom they thought were troopers made me realise that clones couldn't have all been nice people, because if they were, then people wouldn't be so afraid of them simply approaching them.
@deathkorpsinfantryman18986 ай бұрын
yea i have to agree, l mean i love the clones but i know for a fact they weren't all so noble and honorable. i love the clone wars 2008 series with all my heart but i always felt like they did too good of a job Humanising them especially when you had troopers like Commander Neyo, Bacara, Faie, who were ruthless sociopaths that showed how dangerous an army of indoctrinated child soldiers could be. in fact before the 2008 show, the clones aside from special forces like the Arcs & Commandos who were made to be more independent than the rest of their brothers, were portrayed more like the Death Korps of Krieg in 40k: An army of Genetically modified soldiers born & bred to fight and die in a pointless war for the benefit of an Emperor who doesn't care that they live or die so long as they Follow any order they are given without question! people forget or rather choose to ignore the fact that order 66 was a fully legal order one of a 150 in fact and that the clones were fully loyal to the republic and by extension the Chancellor I.E Palpatine as such they were mandated to follow. any order given to them by Palpatine was understood to be Legal & Just which is what had been drilled into their brains since day one, no need for those stupid chips! we've seen this exact kind of behavior in real life. after all the Nazis didn't need any inhibitor chips to commit their atrocities now did they? likewise, look at what the IOF are doing in Gaza Right Now! they have a whole series of TikTok videos of them committing War crime After War crime, like it's going out of style.
