There's something so lonely about this story. The energy of the party over, the rebels gone. What would their leader Luke be doing right now? Then there's this lone rebel left behind. Do they remember him? Did anything think he died? What's happening with the state of the galaxy now? Did the republic fall, or did it continue? So many questions, yet all there is, is this one man left behind, with the echoes of the victory celebrations still ringing in the depths of the forest.

I honestly prefer the canon version. For some reason, it makes more sense for the sarlacc to kill its victims with noxious fumes and acid then psychic powers

his choice to stop the trooper and hand him over to lord Vader literally killed the empire, if he survived endor i wonder if that thought haunted him for the rest of his life

I would say that: 1) Having EVERY clone be produced on Kamino is probably NOT what happened, instead the Kaminoans pioneered the method and then had cloning facilities built throughout the Unknown Regions or even outside the galaxy where the CIS couldn’t reach them(obviously Spaarti clones were also produced) 2) We KNOW from Legends that Thrawn was able to use Yslamiri to allow for the cloning process to be sped up to a matter of DAYS (to go from clump of cells to fully grown soldier), making clones obviously more expensive and time-consuming to produce than droids, but not to a crippling extent (assuming 1 clone=50 B1 battle droids)-who says that wasn’t ALSO done during the Clone Wars… 3) By the end of the war the Republic was WINNING, at least as far as we can tell…thus we can assume that the droids were not offsetting their unfavorable K/D with superior numbers-and given most Outer Rim worlds were at least somewhat pro-Separatist, we can assume clones and Jedi did most of the heavy lifting during the Outer Rim Sieges (same for the Battle of Coruscant given that large numbers of clones would likely be stationed there, EVEN IF the Republic were spread thin)… Logically I would say the correct number would be between 8 and 80 TRILLION rather than 3-8 million (which given a galactic population in the quadrillions+ means roughly the equivalent to US in Korea/Vietnam-level mobilization (still not the US/USSR in WW2-equivalent full mobilization of society that say the Sith Wars or the Yuuzhan Vong War would entail, but still with some rationing and shifts in industry away from consumer goods and TOWARDS military production)). I would also assume roughly 100 million-1 billion Jedi at the start of the war (as well as multiple smaller Jedi temples in addition to the main one), of which most are Padawans and low-level Knights, with the Jedi Council being a truly ELITE ENTITY, whose members (provided they are Masters) are granted additional privileges like the ability to publicly marry, interweave use of the Dark Side into their use of the Force provided they can use it in a controlled way to aid the Jedi, directly intervene in politics, declassify scientific knowledge that only the Jedi are allowed to know provided they make a petition to the Grand Master, direct the Jedi curriculum, form relations with factions not affiliated with the Republic INCLUDING the criminal underworld provided that doing so benefits the Republic and the Jedi, etc. (no wonder Anakin was PISSED about not being granted the rank of Master IN ADDITION TO being placed on the Council-I would add extra motivations to him like him wanting to convince the Republic to help lift Tatooine and planets like it out of poverty and convince the Jedi to share their scientific knowledge of such things as Kyber Crystals and long range (cross-galactic) communications with the common people so that the economies of places like that can grow (I mention this as the only individuals we see able to transmit holograms across distances greater than within a star system are Jedi and Sith, and given that we know Kyber Crystals provide limitless clean energy))…

Anyone who knows the political structure of the Empire know that Darth Vader was literally above everyone else both socially because Vader was ironically enough, the only person that didn’t play politics and military, because Vader was the emperors apprentice

At the end seeing the trooper wearing the furs and smoking Kush makes me think the Ewoks were thankful he defended them from that beastie and so he sticks around as a sort of protector for them, trading with them when his supplies get low and whatnot. I can imagine him patrolling around Endor helping out various Ewok tribes and maybe even encountering any surviving Imperils who may have either survived or crash landed on Endor.

I kinda wish that even though he probably can’t see force ghosts, Anakin appears to the boy later. Telling him that he is a night. But not a dark one. The one who saved him long ago.

I remember when Star Wars (and lore channels in general) popularity peaked a few years ago and I stumbled onto Loremaster. It was like discovering a new world hidden in plain sight - stories that were mature and nuanced, rather than the PG13 general audience level of the movies. Good things never last forever, but I’m happy Loremaster taught so many people and still makes the same content for us, now loremasters ourselves.

Alright?" *breathing* "Sigh, I take that as a yes then. Let's get to work-" *in mind* "And hope you don't decide to kill me once you get back your position-"
