Ha ha! January also is not neccesarily not the best time to be cycling here in Sydney either. Two days ago it was 37°C! So never mind the hot coffee stop, get out the electrolytes. Thanks Leonard, always enjoy your uploads. Informative and fun and its just great to see there are those of us who don't need to buy very expensive gear to save a few hundred grams of weight. A good challenge like your daily cycling will surely save that weight, as you will see as you step on the scales😊

Hi Leonard. Very much enjoy your channel. I’m 65 and have cycled 121,065 KM since 2011. I go out most days and do between 40 and 60 k depending on the weather. When I started out to cycle “come what may “ I took a tip from Graeme Obree , which was even when he doesn’t feel like riding, he goes anyway. Many days I don’t feel like going but after I’m out and into the ride even the - 8deg of last week was just about bearable, if only for a restricted mileage. Regards. 😎

I used Bob & Brad's KZbin physio in Nov 2021 when i had my right hip replaced and I highly recommend them as even though my surgeon wanted me off the bike for 2 months, my recovery went smoothly by doing my physio exercises and walking three times a day. Speedy recovery Leonard!

I'm still out there, haven't fallen through. :) Haven't done today's ride yet. Been busy all day so looks like it'll be another night ride (but not on the lake because there's too much soft snow and the skidoo tracks haven't solidified enough yet). Glad to hear the lump is something that doesn't require serious treatment and time off. I have a similar massage gun for my hip. Eases the aching nicely.

A better way of going on is not to succumb to the Xmas nosh, control your intake and continue cycling through the festive season and beyond. The best fitness regime is a constant one. As Bruce Lee famously said :- “I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.”

I had a bout of nystagmus while cycling on Tuesday on the trail in Palo Alto. Unfortunately it required a three day hospital stay. No crash. But I can't ride again until the Veterans Administration Hospital optometry department gives me a clean bill of health. Enjoy cycling in 2025 everyone!

That's elbow tendonitis. Had that one years ago. Activity that caused it identified and stopped. It was quite severe requiring injections a couple times. Also elbow bursitis on the apex of the elbow developed a couple years later. This doesn't hurt, but that golf ball on the elbow sure looked odd.

Thankfully mine is only a mild case. I was more concerned about the lump.
