What I like most about this video is that despite all your Babushka's overprotectiveness, you never disrespect her or ridicule her concerns. Any other KZbinr would have shown a spoiled granddaughter who thinks she knows more than anyone, especially older people. Good message of respect and consideration for the wisdom of our grandparents. Congratulations 👏. Greetings from Perú 🙌

My late Serbian баба, God rest her soul, always said that, when she went to school she had to go walking 10 kilometers every day, back and forth. When she would come back, she had to go to pastures and meadows afterwards to keep cattle and tend to crops, and learn in the fields. Carrying in old traditional looking wooly bags called цегер, that goes around neck: bread called погача, sometimes corn bread called - проја , few leeks and piece of cheese to feed. When she and her siblings would come home at dusk, they had to compete for supper, because there was like 10, 11 of them... And i tell you what, those generations brought up very strong, resilient, intelligent and capable men and women, like my late grandparents were... And yes, I say again, you're adorably funny 😂🤣😂

Between he and his 17 siblings they had only 1 boot that they shared, it was uphill BOTH ways, they used dirt as pepper and were grateful for it, etc 😂 On a darker note, we did find out that one morning in the winter when he was a boy, he woke up to find out the cat had had kittens on his/brothers joint bed - and they had frozen to death in the night. The dramatics were funny, but I didn't laugh at them as much after learning that. Just hugged him more lol
