Fire is my favorite typing, Im choosing sprigatito for scarlet and violet, and the starter type i've chosen most often (and has my favorite starter) is water. Choosing a team was a big internal conflict, at least for me.

I was in between Grass and Water (grass is my second favorite type and has a lot of very cool Pokémon, plus my favorite pkmn being Decidueye but I love a lot of the water starters like gens 4-6 & 8s and plan to go with Quaxly in Violet) but ended up choosing grass when I saw all the fully evolved starters on the team picking screen bc of the owl archer

the only times you could use grass to commit arson is if you either scatter seeds across a golf course to make it overgrown and unusable or if you use really tough grass to start a fire(which could happen, one time i tried to use a rock to cut a plant and it started eroding the rock). however, just one small flame and half of chicago is gone, one large flood and an entire coastal community is destroyed
