Since most enemies have toughness to lessen a bit of damage, true damage is useful to ignore that. Combined with a very fast-firing weapon, it becomes really overpowered. It is absolutely worth it if you have a weapon that fires quickly.

Basically: True damage is valuable the more you have already, just like toughness. 1 or 2 toughness aren't really a big deal, but if you're stacking up 3 items with 2 toughness, that's 6 toughness. True Damage is valuable even for non-fast attacks, but it's less of a priority vs say a minigun build.

@@KainYusanagi How come true damage is more valuable the more you have of it? True damage is a fixed amount of damage that ignores all of the enemy damage reduction. If your damage output is let's say 10 damage (after including enemy toughness) then if you added 1 true damage you would gain 10% base damage increase, however, if you were to keep adding true damage to it, the flat damage value it gives for each point of true damage wouldn't change but the percentage dps increase would be lower than what the previous point of true damage added. That is 100÷(10+1) vs 100÷(10+5) 1st true damage % part of the overall dps vs 5th point of true damage % part of the overall dps

Hey DF, many spears and other weapons have Dash damage, that you can utilize to burst dangerous enemies with not too high HP, like the ghosts for example. If you autoattack and immediately dash, you deal more than double damage in one go. Especially great with slow high damage weapons (like your spear). Dash for damage is also usefull, since it resets some swing timers on weapon. Big swords can attack pretty fast in a row that way, added up to the damage the dash does

you need to complete the trials to get the real ending , to get the trials you have to rescue this old guy who i believe only shows up in hard mode (correct me if i'm wrong(edit:i'm wrong) afterwards you can fight the final boss of the trials to get to the final boss which is accessed with a secret passage to the right of Kaminela's room (the boss you just beat) and they have three phases. hope this helps, would really love to see you keep making videos of this game. oh and each character outfit unlocks new items each time you get an adventure success with them (ex: Plate Mail Warriors item is that shield, and some characters unlock more than one item).

The crit healing thing is awesome with the basic throwing dagger. It attacks fast, stacking crit makes you actually do damage, and you can stay relatively far away from danger. I've never lost a run with the throwing dagger + chalice combo.

Df needs to find and keep the wings, because the wings and spring boots are hella OP. The spring boots have a second ability where damage increases while you’re in the air, meaning that if you keep flying you can do an insane amount of damage by the end if the dungeon. Also (credit to vidya gaems) you need the spatula weapon to unlock the last character/skin which has a regeneration shield by itself

If u get the spring boots, they increase your damge by a crap ton the longer you stay in the air. Now if u have wings you can permanently stay in the air so you get a lot of damage increase if used with spring boots. Like so DF can see

Important tips. Kamila isn't the last boss far from it. Dash isn't just an attack use it to avoid attacks and close gaps(can be used to great effect during slime to transition between platforms) learn which items are actually best in slot. A few videos you've canned easily the best items because you didn't understand why they were broke. Often single items can outweigh a set bonus. Lastly range weapons are just bad. Get the moonblade and q everything off screen for easy clear if you're not confident at dashing to avoid attacks.

The Grasslands dungeon was also incredibly easy because everything died so quick. Just saying so maybe you could potentially use them. If you ever find blood of srobeo, keep it over tana and get a weapons that hits very fast, and then upgrade critical chance and defence and you have immortality, its insane, it recovers 4 hp a second if you have high critical chance, i almost killed kaminela with a serrated sword and the blood of srobeo

DF you are not done yet. there are still the trials, the mid-bosses(that only spawn on hard mode) the secret boss you unlock after completing the trials, and the secret SECRET boss you unlock by defeating the 1st secret boss, buying a hammer only available past the 1st secret boss, and then IMPORTANT destroy the wall in the right corner of demon lord Kaminela's room with the hammer to face the true final boss.

Dash damage adds up pretty well. You can become firefighter and with the so called useless griffin egg that gives dash you can pretty much do %200 damage with dashes also lets say you hit a crit (which is hard for firefighter) you do %400 damage. Combine that with nastronds high base damage value and power from foods you can easily hit 500 in single dash

I've had a very fun run yesterday. Pushed Aegis again so I was only level 8. Went with bear dude. Got a Light Saber (and enhanced it) and the armor set. Got a good Steam Shield with 3 Toughness. Then got Dice God's Thingy and replaced the weakest armor. Ended up with 4 Toughness overall and almost 80 crit chance, with the set I would only take 1 damage from any source but the extra damage from Dice Gods Thing was worth more overall. Sadly died to the end boss, he used his one-shot attack just as I went in, didn't know that he got that attack :/

Good luck with the trails. Btw, if you find Dice Gods Trick, I would suggest you always take that out with you. Best item in the whole game. Bragging, I was actually able to score 1,100 with the nitro gauntlets. That is how I killed the two secret bosses and 100% the story....And I am still not done with the game. You can unlock hard mode which adds mini bosses, new trap rooms, and enemy’s while also buffing the original enemies.

have you done your blessings yet? You can gain 5 more skill points to train with if you havent, just means you'll lose your level 30 a few times to grind it though. But yeah, Blood of Srobeo is way op, that and gods dice trick that adds like 25% crit and crit damage. Those 2 items just equals easy runs for days you'll finally get to play the game without stacking defence!

Both these items actually furtger encourage stacking defence since dice gods trick adds so much damage you dont need to focus on it for a while and istead stack def and blood of srobeo works the better the less health you lose
