Many of My Family members have worked for Kruez under Roy . He’s both a Passionate and Compassionate Man . A Local Legend and Hero to most of Us.

I’ll bet every restaurant would love to have about 30 employees like Mr. Perez. Hard working, humble as the breeze. Just puts his head down and does his job. What a great man. I’ve seen him interviewed by other people and he’s always the same. I wish we had more people like this.

I live in Lockhart and am spoiled by the close proximity of so much excellent BBQ. Roy is also a super nice guy!

I’m 36 and I remember seeing him at the other place for years. My father would always take the family there and he admired Roy. Seeing this interview brings back so many memories of him taking the family there for celebrations. I visit there at times when I miss my father . Roy is definitely a Legend. Thank you for this interview.

I worked there in 1982 or 3...moved...miss my old friends there...really miss the food...just found out I can order it online and have it shipped..fedex..I've been craving it for 30 yrs..I helped make sausage in the cooler...it was one of my 3 jobs...I can't wait to get my order ordered and shipped...very excited about it...its worth it...whatever the cost...no comparison...what Roy and you may not know is that Kreuz Bbq was world famous already in the 70s..at one time I had a copy of the READER'S DIGEST where it was Featured in...wish I still had it...but if it can be found...the article is in there..I would say around 1972 or so...thank you..I'm in western Kentucky..if you see him tell my old friend Antonio Yreagus Vicky from Kentucky said hello..he got me the job...

When he said it takes him 4 to 5 hours to cook a brisket I couldn't believe it. I'm gonna run my cooker at 450 to 500 and see if I can get one done properly in about 6 to 8 hours.

weird. i just googled him again as well and found the same thing. When I made that video and for at least three years prior he popped up first. I guess someone has taken on SEO for that word
