5k comments all dedicated to the Pit master and his product. I respect that. But i got to say that the documentary crew did a great job...even though this video was produced in this decade....it felt like I was watching a timeless piece. This poetic masterpiece of a documentary will stand the test of time because it featured a lovable character, a great story and bbq. Thanks to the production crew and thanks to Scott too.

Lordy! Lordy! Rodney, you got my mouth watering like a hose!! It's been YEARS since I had good ol Southern BBQ. I used to live in Austin, TX (1962) and there was a BBQ place (actually a small store) on my home from work. It was owned by an old black gentleman, (probably about 75... not near as 'old' now that I'm 76). For 50 Cents/Lb I could get could (and always would) get a couple of pounds of brisket. I could take a bite, just let it sit on my tongue and it would just DISSOLVE and I'd swallow. I dearly hope that Heaven has food that tastes that good. IT WAS DELISHUS!! If I ever have the chance to travel to your area of the country, I WII DROP IN AND ENJOY! Thanks for the video. Now... excuse me while I dry my mouth. :>) :>) YourConscience
