You know sometimes I think about Kaijus and other such tribute monsters and how it's kind of weird that we made this whole category of removal that ignores practically all protections. Then I remember that people can construct boards like this and there's practically no other out for them. (Of course in my experience when facing Simurgh decks they usually just add in a Barrier Statue and lock the game down completely on turn 1.

The main problem with these is that the chances of you drawing a droplet, and Kaiju or any other removal in the same turn is low, especially if you want to even be able to set up a good board that won't be ran over the next turn.

One out to this infinite negate can just be normal summoning something that has higher attack than thunderbird. If the thunderbird is in the spell/trap zone u get them to negate one card and then the thunderbird summons itself then u normal summon then attack over it and continue ur combo. The best way to do the combo is to end on a board with Mekk-Knight Crusadia Avramax and the apex avian and thunderbird with simorgh protecting the apex since cards under simorgh can’t be targeted by card effects. Avramax prevents ur opponents from attacking ur thunderbird. Being able to have a Tribrigade Oath in gy would be awesome too.

Avramax doesn't work against zoodiack/zeus. The best way to finish the board is with lp masquerena to choose between avramax or unicorn if the player use zoodiack

@@ragnablade5397 ah yeah that is very true. Double dragon lord could work here since it’s already played in Tri brigade. It would also help with having oath in gy. Only downside is that u can’t use I:P to make it so ur gonna have to make it turn one which shouldn’t be too much of a problem. I:P going into unicorn requires u to have a discard which is the only drawback. Cause normally after a combo like that u might not have one. U could always also go for a board that ends on lyrilusc ensemblue robin and double dragon lord. Saves extra deck space too since those 2 are played in Tri brigade lyrilusc already. And if they still end up managing to wipe ur field in some way then u will always have the follow up when ensemble robin goes to the gy.

Even when Thunderbird is off the field Apex can still negate by returning Simorgh or itself. And in this case, even if you somehow managed to "bait" 3 goddamn omni-negates, you'd still have to contend with effect negation via the Utopia card which also happens to be incapable of being destroyed by battle or card effect, *AND* the fact that Apex could just be summoned again the following turn. Along with god knows how many Lyrilusc whores.

On top of that, outside of banishment shenanigans, Eldlich will be able to retain some level of card advantage because searching cards and setting them directly from deck for the low cost of banishing a used card from the grave is "fine".

ERRATA IO is literally banned because it destroys most current decks even at fking 1, Sky Striker has many of their Spells in the limited list due to being impactful, so no, S/T is actually now in a better place and can have a good impact in the game.

@@jaferali3554 cause it only limit once per chains, you can’t make unlimited negate like Drytron or Zeus where it could chain every card effect, so it is really easy to outbreak this ‘negate chain’ when you have on summon effect, then chain immediately for tribute or special summon. This board is difficult to break, just need some multiple chain and slowly break the board

It's one thing that stops the loop lol and it's name is kaiju. You just tribute the one that will also go back into the hand. They will still have negates but not as many after that. You can try and super poly them away as well. Just normal summon with no effect and super poly into swamp dragon. Then combo from there. It's not a invincible board. Just a annoying one.

You need to play some combination of hand traps to prevent your opponent from making boards like these too easily, and or play "going second " cards to break boards. The game is very fast paced though so even if you lose quickly you can get another game in fast. To me it's a delicate balance of playing extenders to combo off into strong boards, but also have options to be able to go second.

I don't mind boss monster to a certain extent and I understand the point of power creep and how consistent new decks are , HOWEVER if they absolutely had to have a ton of consistency and OP boss monster at the very least make them forced to be played with certain archetype only . there's no reason for cards like simorg to cost " 2 monster + including at least 1 winged beast " thats dumb as fuck MAKE IT 2+ wind winged beast monster so its not droppable in any fucking deck that tech 1 winged beast cuz fuck you same with herald , Zeus and all the other boss monster . infinite impermanence can only be activated from hand when you don't have a face-up card. In this case because you activated the field spell first it's considered as face-up, so you can no longer chain impermanence from hand

The problem is, the other player did draw an out. If he activated Imperm in response to the Thunderbird's effect to special summon itself, he could have outed the Apex Avian, either by negating it or by having it negated by Avian's effect, meaning it would be in hand, thus there being no more infinite negates. The opposing player just did not realize this and did not chain Imperm at the needed time.
