I enjoyed listening to Season 1 but ever since this has become the “dump on Lauren” podcast, I’m done. I LOVE Stephan and Kristen’s podcast and how they are so respectful of everyone, recognizing it was all for TV and MTV. None of these people would be here if it wasn’t for Laguna and Lauren.

Projection. Heidi has so much guilt over what she did to her friend Lauren that she’s making it seem like Lauren was the mad, jealous type who was deeply obsessed with her show. When clearly Heidi’s BF and Brody were talking about how they wanted to be on the show so badly. So here’s my final thought: listen to the difference between Kristin and Heidi talk about the past and Lauren. Kristin owned her part, Heidi doesn’t. I want to like her but she seems so bitter. Stop bad mouthing Lauren and start speaking the truth. That’s how Stephen and Kristin got Lauren on their podcast.

Yes me too!If this is true i think the show would have been a flop, thats my personal opinion. (max 3 seasons) On Laguna Beach Kristin was more on the front line, but when Jason kissed Jessica on that fashion show things changed. The way Lauren handled things with so much maturity and poise at 18 years old, to me it was very impressive. I think thats when she became a more desirable character and the producers saw it. As much as i like Kristen now, back than she was just too much for me, loud and obnoxious, all over the place. If she says yes to the hills, it would have been full of yelling, bar fights, gossip etc. I personally loved following Lauren and Whitney’s career, they were very likable, and people were rooting for them. Lauren kept carrying herself with poise, setting boundaries, and standing up for herself, which was a good example for young girls. I believe, that is why she is popular to this date. She just focused on her fashion career and didn’t get caught up in fame and money. When Lauren left, it was obvious that she made the show, despite all the comments these three make on this podcast…”heidi you made/carried the show”. Then why it didn’t last longer than an extra two seasons? Ratings plummeted, Speidi completely lost the plot in the end. All the scenes with them became painful to watch, desperately trying to stay relevant by picking fights. Heidi comes across very bitter and jealous, i think deep inside she regrets her decision. I would not be surprised if in 10-15 years she will come out and claim she was in this abusive relationship with a narcissist who controlled her. Heidi is nothing without Spencer she has nothing, no money, no career she is stuck. But this is just a theory, so don’t come at me 😅

Watching Lauren working some aspect of Fashion, from a runway show to styling, is always fun and why there was a The Hills show. Love watching Lauren and Whitney do their thing 💖💖 Awww, Brody… I love hearing you initially fanboy over Lauren 🥰 And your sweet remarks about how she made you feel comfy and cool about filming and hanging out in general. You two developed a genuine relationship/friendship and it showed at that time 🥰 Love when Audrina hangs up on Spencer 😂 Perfect! Whitney interviewed Lauren a couple yrs back but you could tell some things couldn't be talked about. Also you could tell Whitney and Lauren weren't really good friends so it was as if they didn't know each other at all. I wish Lauren would just talk more about that time. @@cosmicgem_ I think that was kind of different. I think Stephen had to convince her. Laguna was also a cast of people that all grew up knowing each other. This was pre fame for lauren. I think with the hills she was already experiencing her fame before she met everyone else on the show. I think the hills was obviously massive for her career but kind of become a dark time for her at some point. She left 13 - 14 years ago and really hasn’t looked back.

@@KiahKassie i started with laguna beach and then the hills from the start, and im just re watching it cause i was like wow it cant be all of what she is saying and it just doesnt makes sense her new stories, no matter how you look at it, it just doesnt add up and you give grace to someone that regrets its behavior all she is doing is creating this new stories that are total lies....she again is gross and pathetic and it bothers me that a child like her has the plataform to spread hate towards a woman that does really good things and actually is a good example not only of a woman but of a person. Poor Heidi if she is still holding on to her bitterness after all these years and wants to bring it up again and again, must be draining. I actually liked her back in the day but I can't believe she is still talking about this. For sure Heidi was a big part of the show but what made her famous was mostly being Spencer's partner in crime and his feud with Lauren and becoming the show's villain (which he has admitted multiple times was his plan from day one). Maybe Lauren was a bit spoiled and somewhat controlling over her friends and for sure wanted to control her own storylines and how she would be portraited on the show, that's not a crime. She had different goals for herself.
