I wish they let Homer stay smart. Peer-pressuring him to put the crayon back in is insane. I also love how this proves Lisa is like her dad and Bart is like his mom.

@josephshields4639Күн бұрын
That’s one thing I don’t like about these shows is there’s never real character growth and when they do it it’s just completely forgotten about the next episode it would’ve been awesome to see Homer slowly become smarter with each season but we just never got that and I’m not saying he should be a genius or anything but just allow him to be smart in certain things and dumb in others I hope to all the people that do and do not see this have blessed lives✝️🙏🤍

After I retired in May I never thought about work until the next March when my ex boss sent me a bonus check for my work the previous year. It was quite substantial and unexpected. So, they're not all bad. I left my first programming job 10 years after starting it when my unit was laid off. Never thought about that until I got a note from the company asking me how I wanted my pension, dribbled out monthly or in one nice chunk. Took the chunk and used it as down payment on a summer cabin.

I love Mr. Burns. Because he is the definition of "awful boss, brilliant business man" kinda like Buck Strickland, Mr. Burns will constantly do scummy shit and act like he's not in the wrong. However, he still understands that he needs to treat his employees with some modicum of respect and that includes rewarding them when they do good. He knows without his employees he has nothing so he puts on a fake facade for them and makes sure what he does isn't bad enough for them to quit.
