Thanks Adam. Great video, nowadays when we sell arcade games we always quote insurance included and appointment for delivery, those 2 requests help a lot and avoid some of the problems you mentioned. As drivers want to leave the games before you inspect, then you can sign but include a comment about it, in case something happens, it can help. Another potential risk is related with inaccurate shipping dimensions, factories websites have this info, but...it is not always accurate...then you will be surprised with additional cost because the game was bigger than quoted, it is time-consuming but we always double check shipping dims with some particular factories, some of them change packing of big games as basketball or skeeball games (ICE... used to do it in 2021...) Cheapest quotation is normally related with same companies as Estes, AAA Cooper, in our experience, we just work with them when we need to send a small cabinet really close to origin (1-2 days transit time) We had bad experiences with both of them when we needed longer trips... (delays and damages) International shipping is challenging and we could share crazy experiences, we have sent Pump It Up by AIR from California to Africa (yes...big machine, really expensive air freight) and the cargo was missed during 10 days in Europe !!! All was solved and it happened because Covid-19 crisis... (flights related with food, medical supplies etc had priority and everything was a mess during those days...) At the end those dance fans were really happy... (me too) When we ship games to shopping centers or penthouses, it is pretty common to coordinate delivery using big cranes, so you can enter by the window. Shipping is a whole world, in order to avoid nightmares we have learnt you must double check dimensions, work with professionals and always keep customers informed... Always!!

This is why I stick with MAME. I ain't gonna go through all the stress and expense only for some idiot to damage the cabinet in transit... I deal with enough idiots every day already.

Great video! I'm about to move to a new home in 2 months. Q: Do you take the monitors out for moving or do you feel its safer to leave them inside the cabinet during transport by a professional moving company?

I leave them inside as they tend to have the hardware that also helps keep the cabinet together. There is still a risk though, but I think that would be slightly higher if you remove the monitor. Only once did I have a monitor get busted up in shipping (where it was in the cab), but that was also due to rough handling by the cheapest freight option. Good luck!

It's VERY similar... G-Loc changed it up a little but AB2 would have been DLC these days!
