Any advice for somebody desiring to be a missionary after graduation? ❤

Hi Audrey, thank you for reaching out. It depends largely on where you're planning to serve and what population or demographic you have a burden for. It is always good to go for a short-term (up to 1 year) trip to an established ministry or mission field and taste firsthand the challenges you may encounter there, before making any big decisions. I recommend Impact Ministry (KZbin channel)'s video on How Do I Become A Missionary to start off. But if you're far along your journey in discovering this calling, I would just encourage you to be strong and courageous (Deuteronomy 31:6). Embrace a heart of humility, adopt a posture of listening, and go with the heart to learn the stories and barriers the locals have in coming to receive the gospel. Be ready to speak less, listen more, and ask more questions. And be thankful, for it is always our privilege and honor to serve our loving Father. I am by no means an expert, but these are the advice I would give anyone looking to do cross-cultural missions. Don't stop praying about it, and don't rush into it. We'd rather it all happen in God's timing than ours, won't we? 😊 I pray that God will grow you and lead you. God bless!

Btw this song was instrumental when I was being pruined studying the Book of John where I needed to abide and allow God to cut off the dead branches. Only to allow new ones to grow and form new buds to grow new fruit. I literally was wailing on the ground and couldn't stop crying going thru a separation and having my eldest son telling me he didn't love me in so many words for the second time and I have 3 grandsons with one on the way. Heart broken as a mom plus they live in TN and I am in CA.
