Poland stuck between Germany and Russia, a tale as old as time.
This time it's a Step Queen stuck between 2 Step Bros, Polish genre.
It's time to see what happens when you play Poland in the new HOI4 DLC!
In HOI4 No Step Back, Poland has also received a new focus tree which is huge and honestly amazing.
It has so many options from a communist tree and the classic ideologies to having a Kingdom with many Kings that follow different ideologies.
The Cossack King, Habsburg King, Romanian King, Romanov Queen and many more, Poland has tons of new content.
Don't forget this is still the 100% HOI4 Series so Tommy is searching for Poland achievements in this one.
There will be a Habsburg one and a Romanov run so you get 2 achievement runs in this video.
100% Achievements in Hearts of Iron 4 won't get themselves!

I think it’s cool that Paradox put Krystyna Skarbek into the game. She was the first female spy in the English secret service, and had to trek across Europe to escape Poland. She later went on to break some French leaders out of a Nazi prison right before they were executed.

If they do an Italy dlc they would probably focus it on Africa/colonial management and maybe add a new partisan uprising mechanics. One that I particularly find lazy is that they didn’t even put a basic Italian civil war after, even something simple like a single event would be a nice touch and bring much needed fun in the peninsula

The tank with 45 km/h reminds me of the ghost divisions you could glitch in the game on Hoi 1 :D they had max speed and only would stay in the game if they had marching orders they had 0 manpower and 0 org. But yeah if you got behidn enemy lines you could beatn USSR in one week, by occupiying it

Hey tommy, imo 10 withs pure inf with arty,at,aa and engies are great now, with tecs they can get up to 50 org and like 100 - 120 soft attack. I'm in 1942 and they're killing everything and are great at dealing with supply issues.

Now Germany's Focus Tree badly needs a new update to allow a lot more options for both the Nazi and Anti-Nazi paths. Like Hitler can be opposed but the Nazis can still remain in power, like Himmler takes over. A vastly expanded Kaiserreich path, and a full Communist branch.

The last *Actual* Romanov from the royal line was an elderly man who lived alone in a mobile home in Australia who died in 2008. Up until his death the Orthodox church in Australia recognised him as the legitimate claimant and he was treated very highly within the Orthodox community. I found when I was experimenting with he combat widths that have 9 infantry and 1 artillery I also found that a division with 9 infantry and 3 artillery works too. A mix of both I found works super well with minimal green air. It works a lot better when your bombing the enemy but they work well with like 10 fighters just giving you green air

About next dlcs - I think I would bet on a "nordic" content pack for Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark. First reason, devs said that this is the strategy now, content packs like DoD or BfB between bigger dlcs, second reason, there was nothing for Finland with NSB, and they were a big part of WW2, definitely bigger then Portugal or Baltics, who have their trees. I would expect Finland to get unique tree, and the rest of nordics a shared tree with some unique parts For the dlc after this, Im not sure, but I would still probably bet on Italy rework and air war rework. But I cannot really think of other countries that would get trees. Other countries around sea already have trees, so maybe Switzerland and Austria? And, if there would be another dlc after that, probably Middle East pack or South America pack
